Lovely visit to Springfields/Allerton Cemetery today to fulfill an order placed via my website from CANADA!!

The lady asked that I deliver artificial flowers to her grandparents grave & make sure it was tidy for her.

After an epic trip to find the cemetery abd then to locate the grave, I set to work, brushed the loose grass away, dug put the weeds, clipped infront of the headstone, removed the birdmuck & gave the stone a wipe. Then placed the artificial flowers the lady had chosen, with the message she had asked me to write on the card.

Before & after pictutes taken & sent to the lady in Canada for her piece of mind...

This is all part of the grave flower service I offer, if the grave needs more tending or maintenance/regular tending then I would refer them to

North Midlands Area of NAFAS NAFAS - Bringing People and Flowers Together

Hi all, my friend is entering this category at Chorley Flow Show, but is a bit stumped on mechanics...

Does anyone have a picture/staging diagram of the manequin so we can visualise how to attach / mechanics to use please?
Or any advice please?

The schedule is from Chorley Flower Show. She's tried to contact the organisers, but as it will be judged by NAFAS thought someone might be abld to help. I had a look throught the blue rulebook & can't see anthing that would help...

First few of my roses starting to bloom...

Gertrude Jerkyll, For your eyes only & a yellow rose I took from my mums garden when I got my own place 16 years ago....

3 blooming, another at least 20 to go!! The joys of a new build garden! Crappy soil but roses love it.

Lovely few hours yesterday wandering around Robins Bridge Nursery in Aughton....

Lived chatting to all the people who work there, feel more like friends than staff as i've been going there for years.

Amazing plants at good prices - yesterdays picks were: white agapanthus, foxglove, scabious, nemesia, begonias, alstromeria & no doubt loads I forgot...

Needles to say - my job for today - planting up in mums garden. .

Back for the hanging baskets next week!!
