✨What’s with the no under 3s rule?✨
Face painters aren’t trying to be awkward — there are real reasons behind the no under 3s policy, and it’s all about keeping little ones safe 💖
🧸 It’s simply not allowed
Insurance for professional face painters in the UK clearly states we cannot paint children under 3. If we do, our insurance becomes invalid — and that risks our kit, our business, and our reputation.
🎨 Even the paints say no
EU/FDA‑approved brands like Fusion, GTX and Diamond FX all state their products aren’t suitable for under‑3s. It’s not a preference — it’s a safety rule.
💗 Sensitive skin + developing immunity
Under‑3s are more prone to reactions and allergies. Even with safe products, their skin and immune systems just aren’t ready yet. A reaction could be painful for them and devastating for a small business.
🕊️ Honesty helps everyone
Some little ones look older, some younger — if we’re unsure, we’ll ask. Trust that we’re doing our best to keep everyone safe and happy.
⏳ Don’t chance it
Queues can get long, and it’s heartbreaking to turn someone away at the front. Check our signage — most boards clearly say no under 3s.
✨ But we can offer alternatives!
Glitter gems, accessories, temporary tattoos (safe for 2+), and sparkly goodies your little one can enjoy right now. And when they turn 3? We’ll be so excited to paint them! 🎉💕
