Congratulations Sophie on saying yes to the dress today!
After you had tried on the first dress and found that you liked her, you were on a roll and tried on lots of different styles. Being open minded paid off until the end when the slightly wild card became your dream dress. There was no doubt how happy you were in her and we can't wait to see photos of you after your big day in September 2026 😍

When searching for my wedding dress for my second wedding, I was disappointed with the lack of choice for anyone who is above a high street 14/16 and was shocked at the prices of wedding dresses.
Eventually after several upsetting experiences I purchased an ex-display dress with RRP of £1500 for £500.
As fate took it I then worked for a bridal company who sold only pre-loved dresses which is where I gained my experience. I found that I really enjoyed the experience of helping brides to find their dress and to be a part in the planning for their big day.
Buying her dress is one of the biggest experiences of the wedding planning for a bride and should form part of her happy memories. With the help of Wendy, we aim to provide an informal relaxed environment to brides who are very often out of their comfort zone.
The Two for Joy Bridal studio is based in the beautifully maintained grounds of Tregondale Farm, whilst being only 3 miles from Liskeard, Two for Joy Bridal offers a unique, intimate and private experience for brides that would prefer to try on a wedding dress without the audience often associated with high street bridal shops.
I ensure that we always hold over 150 dresses so that everyone regardless of shape, size and age has a choice of dresses to try on. We now hold nearly half of our dresses in sizes 14+ but further ensure that in the size range 6-8 that we have a good choice too as petite brides also struggle to find dresses which actually fit them.
