The AC Events team have absolutely LOVED working on the series with Lambert Smith Hampton (Ireland).

From being on the ground at the very start of the project right through to its final moments, it’s been a brilliant journey. We had the pleasure of collaborating closely with the fantastic team at Lamberts to shape and deliver the full programme. This included everything from managing a brilliant line-up of speakers (including my best friend, Martin!) to overseeing room design, lighting and AV production, and of course, catering and all the finer details that make an event sing.

Hosted by Paul McErlean, the series kicked off with GAA President Jarlath Burns, followed by rugby legend Tommy Bowe, and wrapped up in style with the iconic Martin O’Neill – what a finale!

A huge thanks to everyone involved including designer Jude Lynch– it’s been a joy to help bring this inspiring, energising series to life.

April is Bowel Cancer Awareness Month 💙

Oue events director Anna has signed up as a Bowel Cancer UK Awareness Champion — so yes, you’ll be hearing from us (a lot!) this month.

Why? Because in December 2018, Anna was diagnosed with Stage 3 bowel cancer.

✅ Anna was lucky.
📉 But not everyone is.

Someone dies from bowel cancer every 30 minutes in the UK.
It’s the 2nd biggest cancer killer — but it doesn’t have to be.
➡️ Diagnosed at Stage 1 = 97% survival rate
➡️ Diagnosed at Stage 4 = 7% survival rate

In Northern Ireland, around 460 people die each year, and 26% of people in Belfast don’t know the signs.

The AC Events team has had a busy week with Employee Ownership Ireland on thier next series of roadshows.

A huge thank you to the incredible speakers who brought their expertise and enthusiasm to each session, including including Paul Millar, Zara Duffy, Andrew Harrison, Karen Maguire, Ronan Heenan, Anthony McVeigh FCA CDir and Professor Joan McCoy.

With such a packed schedule, the ACE team has been on the go, ensuring everything ran smoothly and that each event delivered real value to participants.

Business leaders, experts, and advocates for employee ownership came together to launch this new initiative and hear from EOI Boad Chair Karen Maguire, Aidan O'Neill DLD Fund, Catherine Muldoon and Graeme Nuttall OBE talk about the benefits of this model.
