Believe it or not, Charlotte told me at their final pre-wedding consultation that she felt most nervous about their portraits session because she explained that “I just can’t imagine we’ll suit ‘wedding-y photos’ or that we’ll be able to carry it off. To that I said; that’s why I get to know you both - so that I can take photos which reflect you, not every other magazine couple. Jake has his own tree surgeon business and spends his days outside in woodlands. Charlotte is hilarious, fun and they’re both amazing parents. They own a ridiculously bad ass Land Rover and they BOTH play rugby. I mean, come on. WHAT A COUPLE. So I opted for loads of movement, I roped in the Land Rover as an extra Groomsman and I leaned into everything they’re all about and got really creative. We had THE BEST DAY. Thanks both for trusting me with documenting your insane wedding. Rugby in heels, anyone? 🫶🏻🔥🪵 🏉

(Moment to appreciate that wide leg jumpsuit as well - oh and if you’re wondering whether this track is an appropriate choice … this was Luke and Emma’s legal ceremony before they had their wedding … in Ibiza. I read the room: it is appropriate) 🪩

J O D I E // & // C A R L : H A Z E L // G A P // B A R N ✨ The kind of couple you want to stay friends with afterwards. The kind of guests only the loveliest couple ever would know. The atmosphere was electric, the laughter constant and the aesthetics unreal. These two deserve the world AND MORE. Take note of the final photo: a tongue in cheek moment due to Carl assuring me they’d both be rubbish at being photographed - they were of course 🔥🔥🔥 so as he relaxed into it all, we had a high FASH-HUN moment and he totally leaned into it and loved it. GO ON CARL 💪🏼
