A little update from Teeny Tots 🤍
*Please read in regards to bookings going forward*
I always want to be honest with you all, and after a lot of thinking, I’ve decided I need to make a few changes.
I’ve realised I’ve been taking on too much whilst also trying to juggle life with my three young children, who I have to work around every weekend. Recently I’ve found myself not enjoying work as much as I should, and that’s definitely not why I started Teeny Tots.
So, from September onwards, I’ll only be taking one booking per day.
I absolutely love being a part of your special events, and doing it this way means I can give each booking my full attention. It means no stress, no rushing from one setup to another, no trying to squeeze collection and delivery times around multiple bookings, and maybe… just maybe… I’ll actually get chance to have a drink and eat on a weekend 🤣.
I also want to say something that I don’t think people always see. Some people might look at what I do and think it’s easy, but there is so much that goes on behind the scenes. The cleaning alone takes hours and hours. Some nights I’m still awake at 2:30am cleaning equipment ready for the next day’s booking. Then there’s the admin, loading the van, driving, setting up, packing away, washing everything, and trying to be a present mum at the same time. It’s a lot, and I’ve realised I need to make changes before I burn myself out, it’s just me myself & I in this business doing everything by myself.
I’m also making another important change. Once all currently booked outdoor hires are completed, I will no longer be taking any outdoor bookings, including for next year. Going forward, bookings will only be accepted if you have an indoor venue or hall booked.
As many of you know, my equipment is white, and outdoor hires come with a lot more risk. Unfortunately, the equipment is getting damaged and ruined, and it’s incredibly expensive to replace.
I know some people may be disappointed, but I hope you understand that these changes are about protecting both my business and my family time. I want Teeny Tots to continue being something I love doing for many years to come.
Thank you so much for all of your support, understanding, and for continuing to choose Teeny Tots for your little ones’ special days. It honestly means the world to me. 🤍
