I’ve been sorting through boxes as we’ve moved recently and I found this lovely card from one of the lovely Closet brides, Somer, who got married last November. It was the pick me up I needed whilst doing - long and tedious job!

I had such a lovely time with the lovely Emma and her equally lovely mum, Wendy. Emma tried on a range of gowns but we managed to narrow it down quite quickly to her perfect style and when she put on “the one”, it felt right straight away. 🤍🤍

Too often, we fit in with what everyone else expects of us or what we think other people will approve of and this is no different for wedding planning!

Most of the time, any expectations that are put upon you by family or friends, reflects only what they think is socially expected, and not truly what they would actually like anyway!

This is YOUR day so have it exactly how you want it as a couple. Wear the dress YOU feel best in, choose the venue that YOU love and have a wedding that is authentically yours. 🤍
