Today we had the pleasure of hosting Alfie and James as they celebrated their 11th birthday in true racing style here at Gridline Racing Indoor Karting Centre! 🏁πŸ”₯

Friends and family joined them on track for an afternoon packed with speed, excitement, and plenty of friendly competition. The whole group put in some fantastic laps β€” with Lorcan Spencer topping the timesheet at an impressive 45.022 seconds, followed closely by Harris Johnson and Finley White.

The Lincoln Hospital Porters swapped the wards for the race track as they headed to Gridline Racing Indoor Karting for their Christmas do β€” and they certainly didn’t hold back!

The group went head-to-head in our Race of Champions format, beginning with a competitive qualifying session to set the grid. After a short breather, all drivers lined up for a flat-out 12-minute race to decide the podium.

Over 1,000 drivers have already taken on our newest circuit layout β€” now two weeks old and getting grippier by the day β€” and every single one of them has automatically been entered into one of our six competitive leaderboards.

These categories ensure every driver, no matter their age or experience, has a fair shot at climbing the rankings:

🏁 Fastest Cadet (8–13yrs)
🏁 Fastest Female
🏁 Fastest Driver Under 17yrs
🏁 Fastest Driver 17–39yrs
🏁 Fastest Driver 40–59yrs
🏁 Fastest Driver 60yrs+

State of the art timing system lets everyone know who’s got the fastest lap time, each driver can access every lap time from every visit via our Gridline Racing App available to download on the app store, giving the ability to check out the competition, fastest lap times of the day, week & month.

Our website automatically logs each drivers best lap time so you can see how you fair against others, it will show fastest cadets, fastest driver over 40, fastest female and more.

Check out the Hall of Fame page on our site which displays the driver who set the fastest lap time of previous months... are you fast enough to get your name logged as the fastest driver of this month? or even have your name on there multiple times? You’d have to be a very talented driver to do so.
