🔥 ELITE SUPERPOLE REVIEW – 1ST SEPTEMBER 2026 🔥

September kicked off with a seriously competitive Elite Superpole, with 30 drivers taking to the circuit and the entire field separated by just 1.541 seconds! 🏁⚡

At the very top, Emerson Wilson reminded everyone just how quick he is. The U17 driver produced a superb 32.254 to take P1 overall and the U17 category win.

But Conor Kingdon was right there. After his incredible run of form through August, Conor opened September with a 32.352, only 0.098s away from Emerson and good enough for P2 overall and fastest 17–39 driver. 🔥

James Peers completed the overall podium with a 32.413, just 0.159s off P1, while Ady Stead delivered another brilliant performance with a 32.471. That put Ady P4 overall and fastest in the fiercely competitive 40–59 category.

The pace barely dropped from there. Oscar Hurley, Louis Canlett, Joseph Gani, Jon Evans, James Broad and Ben Dalzell all broke into the 32.6s, with the top 16 separated by only 0.622 seconds! 😳

Our other category honours went to:

🏆 U17 – Emerson Wilson – 32.254
🏆 17–39 – Conor Kingdon – 32.352
🏆 40–59 – Ady Stead – 32.471
🏆 Over 60 – Ian Wray – 32.801
🏆 Female – Abi Worrell – 33.268

A special mention also goes to Reece Goldsbury, who matched Callum Whitt’s 32.876 exactly — right down to the thousandth!

What’s also really exciting is seeing even more new names climbing up our leaderboards, adding even more depth of talent to what are already incredibly competitive categorised rankings. The standard just keeps getting stronger, and at this rate we’re predicting an even more competitive 2027 Drivers Championship than the one we’ve seen this year. 👀🔥

Thirty Elite drivers, incredibly tight margins and some seriously rapid lap times. If this is how September is starting, we could be in for one hell of a month.

🏁 AUGUST COMPLETE — AND THE 40–59 CHAMPIONSHIP IS GETTING SERIOUSLY TIGHT! 🏆🔥

August is done, with 361 drivers setting a lap in our 40–59 category — and the battle at the top came down to thousandths of a second!

Jon Evans takes maximum points after topping August with a brilliant 32.297s.

But Craig Blades actually recorded a 32.2996s, which rounds up to the 32.300s shown on the leaderboard.

That means less than THREE THOUSANDTHS OF A SECOND separated them after an entire month! 🤯

And Ady Stead was right there too on 32.311s.

Just 0.014s covered the entire Top 3! 🔥

Those results leave the Championship beautifully poised:

🏆 Jon Evans — 148 pts

🥉 Ady Stead — 136 pts
5️⃣ Wayne Richardson — 124 pts

Craig and Simon are effectively joint P2 on 140 points, just 8 points behind Jon.

And then there’s Ady Stead, who just keeps chipping away. 👀

After scoring nothing in January, Ady rattled off an incredible FIVE consecutive monthly victories from February through June, before adding another 18 points in both July and August.

He’s now technically P3 in the title fight on 136 points, only 4 points behind Craig and Simon and 12 behind Jon.

Meanwhile Jon’s consistency has been exceptional, scoring at least 16 points every month.

🏁 AUGUST COMPLETE — AND THE 17–39 CATEGORY IS GETTING SERIOUSLY COMPETITIVE! 🔥🏆

August is done, with 1,052 drivers setting a lap in our 17–39 category — and one driver in particular has made quite an entrance.

Conor Kingdon has seemingly come from nowhere and started dominating. 👀

Conor only began scoring championship points in July and immediately took P1 and 20 points.

August? He did it AGAIN.

His stunning 32.120s topped the August leaderboard, giving him:

🔥 JULY — P1 — 20 POINTS
🔥 AUGUST — P1 — 20 POINTS

That’s 40 points from a possible 40 since he started scoring!

Meanwhile championship leader Louis Canlett was only 0.131s behind, setting a superb 32.251s to take 19 points and move onto 118 overall.

And look how tight the championship is:

🏁 AUGUST COMPLETE — THE UNDER 17 CHAMPIONSHIP BATTLE CONTINUES! 🏆🔥

August is done and another valuable set of points has been added to the 2026 Under 17 Drivers’ Championship — after an incredible 1,380 drivers set a lap in the category during the month!

Once again, Emerson Wilson came out on top. 💨

His outstanding 31.935s secured P1 and the maximum 20 championship points, taking Emerson to an incredible 158 points from a possible 160 after eight months!

His scores so far:

19 • 20 • 19 • 20 • 20 • 20 • 20 • 20

That’s six consecutive monthly victories. 🔥

But the championship certainly isn’t over.

James Peers added another 18 points with a 32.378s, taking his total to 145 — just 13 points behind Emerson.

And the battle immediately behind couldn’t be closer…

Alfie High sits P3 on 144 points — just ONE POINT behind James! 👀

One of August’s standout performances came from Harvey Read, who produced a brilliant 32.360s to finish P2 for the month and collect 19 points.

🏁 AUGUST COMPLETE — HANNAH BARRS EXTENDS HER CHAMPIONSHIP LEAD! 🏆💗

August is officially in the books for our Female Drivers’ Championship, with another 20 drivers banking valuable points towards their 2026 totals.

And once again, Hannah Barrs takes maximum points! 🔥

Hannah topped August’s Female leaderboard with a superb 32.764s, collecting another 20 championship points and moving onto an incredible 159 points from a possible 160 across the first eight months!

Her monthly scores:

20 • 20 • 19 • 20 • 20 • 20 • 20 • 20

That is some serious consistency. 👏

But August was VERY close at the top! 👀

Abi Worrell came within just 0.117 seconds of taking P1 from Hannah, setting a brilliant 32.881s lap.

Just over one tenth of a second separated the two fastest Female drivers after an entire month of competition! 🤯

Abi’s P2 earned her 19 championship points, moving her onto 107 points and into P3 overall, just three points ahead of Nicola Lent on 104.

Meanwhile, Suzi Ridley remains Hannah’s closest championship challenger. Another 16 points in August takes Suzi onto 141 points and keeps her firmly P2 in the title race.

Alyss-Anya Hill was also right on the pace in August, taking P3 with a 33.040s and another 18 championship points, moving her season total to 85.

Further down the August Top 20, Laura Redhead collected 17 points, Holly Dalzell 15 and Chloe Quirke 14 — all adding valuable points to their championship totals. 💪

🏁 AUGUST IS DONE — AND THE 2026 DRIVERS’ CHAMPIONSHIP IS HEATING UP! 🏆

Another month is in the books at Gridline Racing, which means another set of championship points have been scored — and for some drivers, August has given their 2026 title hopes a serious boost! 🔥

Every single lap matters.

There’s no special championship event to enter, no sign-up and no entry fee. Every lap time you set during any visit to Gridline automatically counts towards the monthly leaderboard for the category you fall into.

Finish the month inside the Top 20 fastest drivers in your category and you score championship points:

🥇 P1 = 20 points
🥈 P2 = 19 points
🥉 P3 = 18 points
…all the way down to P20 = 1 point.

And August certainly produced some important results. 👀

In the Cadet category, Jensen Murdoch ended August fastest with a 35.910s, collecting the maximum 20 points and strengthening his championship lead to 156 points.

But Seth Perry isn’t letting him disappear — another 18 points takes Seth to 148, leaving just 8 points between the top two as we head into September! ⚔️

Lenny Murdoch remains firmly in the hunt in P3 on 130, while Zachary McAuliffe sits P4 on 123. A brilliant August from Asher Lent, who finished P2 for the month, earned him 19 points and moves him onto 102 overall.

And that’s exactly what makes this championship interesting…

You don’t have to win every month. Consistency counts. Keep putting yourself inside that Top 20, keep banking points and you could find yourself right in the championship fight by the end of the year.

August is complete in our Over 60 Drivers’ Championship, with 54 drivers setting a lap during the month — and at the top, Ian Wray’s incredible run continues.

Ian Wray topped August with a superb 32.480s, collecting another maximum 20 championship points.

That means Ian has achieved something pretty special:

🔥 160 POINTS FROM A POSSIBLE 160! 🔥

Eight months. Eight monthly victories. It simply couldn’t have gone any better so far!

But Dave Moulds continues to keep the pressure on. His 32.714s secured P2 and another 19 points, taking Dave to an impressive 150 points — just 10 behind Ian.

And behind those two, we have an absolutely cracking battle developing for third. 👀

Colin Dawson and Paul Green are now LEVEL on 135 points!

August gave Colin a tiny advantage in that fight, finishing P3 with a 33.338s and collecting 18 points, while Paul was just 0.048s behind with a 33.386s, earning 17.
