Dear friends,
Each year, the young people at our Village Youth Hub roll up their sleeves, put on their aprons, and bake an incredible selection of cakes to raise funds for the village fete. It’s one of the highlights of their year — a chance to learn new skills, work together, and contribute something meaningful to our community.
This year, we’re hoping to make their baking sessions even better.
We’re appealing for donations of cake mixers
If you have a stand mixer or electric hand mixer that you no longer use - it would make a huge difference. Our current equipment is well‑loved and well‑worn, and with more youngsters joining in, we simply don’t have enough to go around.
These mixers won’t just support the Youth Hub. They’ll also be shared with:
🍰The Village Hall, for the monthly coffee mornings
🧁The Church for the occasional cake contributions to their gatherings
🎂Other community events, whenever a good bake is needed
Your donation will help keep these much‑loved traditions thriving.
How to donate
