The cheapest quote can look very expensive once you understand what you’re actually buying. 💷

Because price can reflect far more than the thing being supplied.

It can reflect experience.
Expertise.
Training.
Time.
Preparation.
Quality.
Equipment.
Reliability.
The level of service.

And when those things aren’t accounted for, the cheaper quote can quickly become the expensive one.

A lower price might mean fewer hours, less preparation, cheaper materials, less experience, fewer checks, less support or simply a different level of service.

Sometimes the cheapest option is absolutely the right option.

But sometimes, you’re not comparing two prices for the same thing.

You’re comparing two completely different levels of value.

When we share a business post on Facebook or Instagram, we’re not sat there thinking…

“Ooooh, I hope everyone thinks we’re really bloody brilliant.”

We’re actually thinking…

“Please can someone help this reach the person who might actually find us useful?!” 😂

We’re not asking you to buy from us. 🙅🏼‍♀️

We’re not expecting you to suddenly need wedding flowers, book a photographer or hire a venue.

We just need a little bit of bloomin support.

We’re asking you to spend two seconds and a thumb. 😂

When you start a business, nobody really talks about the pressure we put on ourselves to be the best at what we do.

You go from coming home from employment wondering whether you’ve given too much of your life to a company, to wondering whether you’ve given enough of yourself to your own business.

Self doubt is a battle fought every single day, whether someone admits it to you or not. And every single business owner has their insecurities.

But every now and again, something comes along that gives you that little moment that makes you think, “That’s why it’s worth it!”

For me, that’s reviews.

They mean more to a small business than people probably realise. So, here’s my little feel good moment from a bride I recently had the pleasure of helping.
