🌾 Growing up on a farm is an experience unlike any other.

As part of our Back British Farming Day celebrations, Rosie Crust, our Head of Charity and a farmer's daughter, reflects on her childhood growing up on a family farm.
From helping out during busy seasons to learning first-hand about the dedication and resilience required in farming, Rosie shares how those experiences have stayed with her throughout her life and career.

🌾 Back British Farming Day 2026 🌾

Today, we're sharing the voices of two members of our team with strong connections to farming.

Rosie Crust, our Head of Charity and a farmer's daughter, and Paula Cragg, our Education Executive who helps run her family's farm, discuss why supporting local and British farming is so important.

British farmers have faced significant challenges this year, from difficult weather conditions and increasing costs to ongoing uncertainty affecting the industry. Despite this, they continue to provide high-quality food, manage our countryside and play a vital role in rural communities.
