Sunflower Celebrations had another great day today at Hykeham’s last
Summer Sunday, so thank you so much for having us.
It really was a brilliant day with the best atmosphere. The bands were incredible and the weather was just perfect.

This year, these Summer Sundays really have turned into such a brilliant family day out, with so much going on for everyone. There were loads of things organised for the kids to do, and the best part is they were all free activities 🤩
It is very clear that a lot of thought and effort has gone into making these events a great day out for the whole community, surrounding neighbours and visitors.

So I would like to say a massive thank to all the organisers, North Hykeham Town Council, all volunteers and everyone else involved in making this happen…..your efforts are very much appreciated 👏

Finally, a big thank you to everyone who visited my stall today and bought items for their children. I truly appreciate you supporting my small business 😍

Sunflower Celebrations had the most amazing day today at the Potterhanworth Autumn Festival.
The event was great and well organised, the bands were fantastic and the weather was just perfect.
We met some really lovely families, which is why we love doing these community events.

Now I believe that praise should be given where it’s due. As well as those with parents, we also had lots of young children and young teens come to the stall without their parents……and I have to say that each and every one of them were so polite, so respectful and exceptionally well mannered. We had some great conversations too. Honestly, they all were such a pleasure to serve. Their parents should be so very proud of them 😍

This weekend you will find me at the Potterhanworth Autumn Festival tomorrow and then at North Hykeham for their last Summer Sunday of the year.
These are going to be two great events, so if you’re looking for something to do then why not pop along and have a great day out.

This weekend you will find me at the Barkston Village Fete on Saturday.
This is a great event with lots going on.

On Sunday you will find me at Lincoln Rugby Club for their family funday.
This also looks to be an amazing day.

I am having a well deserved weekend off this weekend……but on bank holiday Monday, you will find me at the Moorland Social Club, Newark Road, for their summer fun day.

So if you’re looking for something fun to do with the kids, then why not come along and join in the fun.
There will be lots to keep them entertained, such as an outdoor disco, bouncy castles, face painting, stalls, sweets by Gemma at The Candy Garage (yum yum), food and drink…..oh and we can’t forget a bar for the adults 😜

I will have lots of sugar squishies, butters, fidget toys, teddy gifts etc, and my usual teddy tombola.
So don’t forget to pop and say hi.

If you are looking for something fun to do this weekend, then why not come along to the family open days on Saturday or Sunday. Bring the kids along as there is lots going on for them.

With the sun shining too, why not bring a picnic and make a day of it. It’s going to be a great weekend and all for a great cause.

Such an important part, and milestone of a child’s life is when they have to say goodbye to their primary school.
These sweet bags went out to the Year 6 children of Waddington Redwood Academy.
I wish every child much happiness in their new school when their new adventure starts.

This is one of my favourite orders of the year and I am always truly grateful for the Friends of the school to keep on coming back to me year after year ❤️
