Sunflower Celebrations

Hello everyone 👋

I bought these beautiful sunflowers yesterday, so thought I would share them with you 🌻

I know that I have been very quiet the last few weeks, so I just thought that I would say hello 👋

At the end of August I had a wonderful week away with my mum and sister, leaving my husband and daughter to fend for themselves 🫣
It was okay though, I somehow came home to a calm house 🤣

I’ve had lots of fairs this summer and have just done my last outside one at the weekend 🎉
I will have a few future fairs to attend, but they will all be indoors, so it makes them a lot easier for me to do.

Last week we celebrated our daughter’s 18th birthday 🎉🍾🎂🎁🎊
I’ve absolutely no idea where those years have gone 🤷‍♀️

I‘ve also recently spent a couple of days away with Howard (my husband). We had the best time in Sheffield, where we were lucky enough to watch Tina Turner the musical. There is only one word for it…. WOW 🤩
Quality time together for us as a couple is always the best time. With life always being so busy, we don’t often get the chance to go away…..but when we do, we just love it 🥰

I‘m now thinking about Halloween 🎃 and dare I say it?……………The ‘C‘ word 🎅⛄️❄️

For now though, take care, spend time with loved ones and just enjoy the simple things in life…..…like sunflowers 🌻 ❤️🌻❤️

Some sweet party bags and large sweet cones for one of my favourite people, Ali 🥰 from At Home With The Robinsons

Whilst I’m mentioning Ali, if you have never tried her food then you are truly missing out. Honestly, she does the most amazing home cooked food and you really need to try her sausage rolls and cheesecake……oh and her pies 🥧 😋

So, give her page a follow to see her creations, and if you’re lucky enough then you just might get to try them. You have to be quick though as it’s always a sell-out no matter what’s on the menu, which speaks for itself.

Trust me, you will not be disappointed by her food or the service you will receive, as she’s definitely one in a million ❤️

This Saturday, 2nd August, you will find me at Cherry Willingham Village Gala.

Looking at the amount of stalls and entertainment going on, this really is going to be a great day out.

So if you’re looking for somewhere to take the kids then this is it. Plus, I think the sun will be shining ☀️

A lovely new customer asked me to put a small hamper together for a friend of hers. She asked for some certain items to be included, so they were.

Hello 👋

So, July has been a very busy month for me, which is why I’ve been a bit quiet on the socials.

I’ve been on a wonderful family holiday, which now feels like a lifetime ago 🤣

I’ve done a few fairs, which have been brilliant. I’ve always been honest and admit that I do find them extremely hard work, due to my health being as it is. The worst part are the days after whilst I’m trying to recover from the pain, but I wouldn’t ever change it as I love every single minute of them.

Teacher gifts were put together, so I hope all the teachers enjoyed receiving them.
I’ve also done a few orders for new customers and regular customers, so thank you to everyone who places an order and for putting your faith in me to create your chosen gifts...I really do appreciate every single one.

Here is one of my favourite orders of the year. I am very honoured for Waddington Redwood School asking me to do these every year. I made up the poem myself three years ago and they always ask for the poem in the sweet bags for their Y6 leavers.
I am truly grateful for their continued support of my small business 🥰

We had another wonderful day at Boultham Park summer fair today. It really has been a fabulous weekend.

A massive thank you to everyone who bought raffle tickets over the weekend to win this giant dinosaur.
Our lucky winner was the lovely Eva, who was overjoyed with her prize….her beautiful smile says it all 😍

Over the last month we have done three teddy tombolas and one raffle, all in aid of Adis Legacy non profit cic.
They are a fabulous organisation who give up their own time to help those in need within our City. They never cease to amaze me with their compassion and dedication to helping those less fortunate.

The teddies and dinosaur were donated from the lovely people of Lincoln, so thank you to everyone who parted with their loved teddies for this great cause, I really do appreciate your kindness.

The pot is currently standing at £54.00 ❤️

We had such a great day today at Boultham Park summer fair, organised by Lottie, who really did such an amazing job. It was extremely well organised and was such a great day out for everyone 👏
The weather was glorious and we met some amazing people….especially the children who are always a delight to speak to 🥰

It’s on again tomorrow, so please do pop down if you are free.
There is so much to see and do…there are stalls to browse around, entertainment, bouncy castles, games, ice cream, food (or bring a picnic) more entertainment….and the list goes on.
Oh and I think Lottie has organised the weather for us too ☀️😀☀️
So don’t forget to bring your hats and sun cream.
