This last weekend we had the absolute honour of being the venue for Chloe and Josh's wedding! One of the main themes for their wedding was Disney, with handmade tangled lanterns on the table that just looked stunning.

We are doing this hike to help my friend Tom and his family afford the costs of his care as well as further inevitable matters.

Tom and I met at Lincoln Christ’s Hospital School during our further education in Sixth Form, he had an incredible sense of humour back then and this remains his superpower today.

Through all his pain he still finds the will to joke and to laugh, making others smile as he pokes fun at his own misfortunate battle with this evil disease.

Having not spoken in a few years, it breaks my heart to touch-base with an old friend and see that the person I know is still there, but now a prisoner of their own body.

So, for Tom, we will hike, but more importantly, we will laugh!
