This Friday 1st August 2025 marks a landmark for the Village Hall, as we move forward with a new online system for bookings and payments.

Just look at this space! and its available to hire on very reasonable rates as well!

As a gentle reminder, the Village Hall is run in its entirety by volunteers, from the Committee Members to cleaning and low level maintenance.

Yes we have made changes, and yes they wont be popular to all, however we wont be able to make everyone happy, we are just trying to keep this Hall running for the good of the community that worked so hard to get it many years ago.

So please feel free to talk to us in person, and ask questions, we are all friendly and open people, but fair warning, we wont tolerate harassment or "trolling" of any kind.

I will be posting a little 'get to know' post of the committee members over the coming weeks, so you know who we are......

The new booking system goes LIVE this Friday, hopefully I have ironed out any issues, but I am human and if something isnt right, I am happy to recitfy...

Thank you to those who came and spent money getting a bagful of bargains,
Thank you to those who donated so generously,
Thank you to all of our volunteers who worked so hard on the day, and in advance, collecting, storing and setting up. And clearing up afterwards.
Thank you to the caterers, keeping us fed and hydrated.
Thank you to the our resident auctioneer, and his fan club!
And thank you T-Rex for dropping in. Not many jumble sales can claim that one!
Plum of the day award goes to our chairman who bought back a mitre saw and paint mixer that was in a bag of stuff he donated! 😂😂
