Hello! 👋 Thanks so much for being here - we’re so glad you’ve found us! Let's reintroduce ourselves.....

We’re Alison and Holly, the new owners of Flowers By Suzanne, and together with our amazing team of talented florists and friendly delivery drivers, we’re incredibly proud to be writing the next chapter of this wonderful business as a fully independent florist. 💐

Flowers By Suzanne has been part of the local community for over 50 years, and while we’ve got plenty of fresh ideas and exciting plans, one thing will never change - we believe flowers are about people. They celebrate love, birthdays, new babies and weddings, offer comfort during difficult times, and brighten ordinary Tuesdays just because someone deserves a smile. That’s why every bouquet we create is made with care, creativity and a whole lot of love.

You’ll usually find Holly geeking out over spreadsheets and numbers, dreaming up new content for social media, keeping up with the latest wedding flower trends… and insisting on filming every single bouquet before it’s allowed to leave the building! You’ll also find her on the lookout for customers with dogs, always thinking of the next big idea, and probably with her phone in hand!

Whilst Alison is the heart of the shop - keeping the team motivated, chatting away with customers (and somehow always discovering their entire life story!), making everyone feel welcome, and ensuring everything runs like clockwork. And once the shop closes? If you're lucky you may hear her playing the saxophone after hours! 🎷😜

Together, we’re passionate about giving every customer the personal service that independent businesses are known for.

We’re open six days a week (closed Sundays) and deliver throughout Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire, from Woodhall Spa to Southwell and everywhere in between.

Whether you’re ordering a bouquet just because, planning your dream wedding, arranging a heartfelt farewell or looking for flowers for your business, we’d be honoured to help. 💐 20 years of Claire at Flowers By Suzanne 💐

Today we celebrate a truly incredible milestone. Our wonderful Claire has been part of Flowers By Suzanne for 20 years!!

Over those two decades, she has seen so much change. Different shops, different teams, familiar faces coming and going, busy seasons, difficult days and countless special moments. Through it all, Claire has remained such an important part of the heart of Flowers By Suzanne. She has been here so long that we often joke she has grown roots! And honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way!!

Claire is an exceptionally talented florist, but it is the care behind her work that makes her so special. Known affectionately as our “Funeral Queen,” she pours so much love, compassion and thought into every tribute she creates, helping families express what words sometimes cannot.

She never sits still, moves at a million miles an hour and brings so much energy, experience and character to the shop! We celebrated earlier in the week with cake, gifts, laughter and plenty of reminiscing about years gone by. It was a lovely chance to stop and recognise just how much Claire has given to Flowers By Suzanne and to the many families she has helped over the years.

Claire, thank you for your loyalty, your talent, your kindness and every single memory. Flowers By Suzanne simply wouldn’t be the same without you.
Congratulations on an amazing 20 years. We are so lucky to have you. Here’s to the next chapter. ❤️
