LIGHTFEST 2026 - call for volunteers

The Lightwater Society, is a volunteer run organisation and it is organising another music festival, but we need your help.

This year we have decided to share the event surplus with the 1st Lightwater Scouts to help them fundraise for the purchase of their scout HQ in the village.

Putting on an event of this magnitude requires a lot of manpower especially on the day.

We need volunteers to act as marshalls, litter picking, entrance cashiers, help run the raffle sales etc.

If you are able to help for a couple of hours, please fill in the sign up sheet below and help us make this another memorable event.

𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐅𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 – 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟏𝐭𝐡 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲

The Lightwater Society and 1st Lightwater Scout Group are delighted to announce that LIGHTFEST 2026 will take place on Saturday 11th July.

Organised by The Lightwater Society, LIGHTFEST is a volunteer-led community music festival bringing live music, entertainment, food, and family fun to the heart of Lightwater.

This year, The Lightwater Society has chosen 1st Lightwater Scout Group as a beneficiary of the event, with 50% of the event surplus being donated towards the Scout Group's campaign to purchase the freehold of its Scout HQ site. This will help secure the future of Scouting in Lightwater for generations to come.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supports LIGHTFEST, whether by attending, volunteering, sponsoring, or helping spread the word.
