If you bought a raffle ticket at Fayre in the Square on Sat, pls check the list below to see if you are a lucky winner.
I will be in Randall's on Wednesday until 1.30 to distribute the prizes, but don't worry if you can't make it, as we can arrange a different time.

What a great turnout last night. 🎄 We hope you all enjoyed the Christmas Carols, Disco 🎵 and did some early Christmas shopping.🛍️. 32 people won raffle prizes - a list will go up soon.

So many supporters to thank, Randall’s, DJ Kurt, All saints church choir and of course our own volunteers who put the decorations up and organise the event. Without donations and support these village events wouldn’t happen so thank you for attending and donating. 📣

🎄Only a few days until the Xmas market and lights switch-on 🎄

SAT 29th NOV 15.00-18.00

We look forward to welcoming you to the square this Sat 3-6 for a very festive Xmas market and lights switch-on

We have some amazing prizes for our raffle and tickets can be bought from Randalls Coffee and Wine Bar from tomorrow.

First prize is the mother of all sweets hamper worth £135 donated by Randall’s

Second prize a giant Cadbury chocolate bouquet worth £45 also donated by Randall’s

Third prize a £50 voucher donated by Co-op

Thank you to the local volunteers who came out this morning to help set up the Christmas lights and decorations 🤶 in the square. It was great to have more hands to help and was very much appreciated. 🤲 Thank you Randalls Coffee and Wine Bar for the hot drinks. ☕️
We look forward to seeing you all next week for the Fayre in the square and Christmas light switch on. 🌲 🌟.

FAYRE IN THE SQUARE 5TH JULY 2025
11.00 - 3.00 PM

First of all, we would like to thank evereryone who come to support us during our very successful VE80 event. We are still catching up with invoices and life :)

Our next event is the Fayre in the Square on Sat 5th July 11-3.

This small market stall event is part of a series of such events organised by the Lightwater Society. These events are designed to promote businesses in and around the village and support our lovely community.

Please get in touch if you would like a stand as we would love for you to come and support the Society and the event. These events raise a little bit of cash which is then used to run events like the VE80 and to buy Christmas decorations for our Lights switch on in November.

The Lightwater Society is self funded and run by a very, very small group of volunteers, so any support you can offer makes a huge difference to us.

If you have already booked, thank you once again for your continued support.

Introducing Holly. Holly is Miss Teen Surrey and lives in the village and will be on stage at 1 to introduce another Lightwater girl Taz. Holly will be competing in Miss GB in the Autumn, so I hope you will join us in wishing her the best of luck.
