This time of year you’ll usually find me knee deep in my favourite flowers and foliage, creating beautiful bouquets and decorating venues for my Autumn couples. -

The madness of peak wedding season has subsided, along with the stress of keeping flowers cool and fresh in the summer heat. The air is sharper, the colours duller (just how I like them) and it’s a time for wool socks and jumpers in the workshop. I love it. -

My studio is depressingly bare this year. There’s no doubt that 2020 has been crazy a year for everyone, yet the wedding industry has been particularly hard hit with zero support from the government. -

The wedding industry is worth £14.7bn to the UK economy, according to . Hundreds and thousands of couples have been forced to make sacrifices and heart-breaking decisions, and countless businesses are at risk of financial ruin. It’s devastating. -
