🪴🦁 This evening we attended the Kids Village evening at St George's Park, which was strangely deserted with nary a footballer in sight! 👀

We did get an update on the progress of Charlotte's village at Wychnor and the plan going forward into next year, every time you attend our Sunday carvery and enjoy our locally sourced meat & veg you help to bring this amazing project closer to completion.

🪴🍷 June is set to be a busy month with lots of amazing events going on alongside our usual 8-course signature tasting menu and our Sunday carvery.

🎲 On Friday 5th join us for a night of baps, bowls & brainwaves for our "Shed Showdown" a night of quizzes and interactive games hosted by Jessica from JMG collective alongside 6 dishes of bowl food and desserts throughout the evening.

🌿 On Saturday 6th join us for a day of foraging with Alvaro from Flatcap Forager, starting with a warm welcome and breakfast on arrival, head out for a 2 hour walk to the North of Lichfield to see what spring has sprung, Alvaro will talk you through the plants, what's safe to consume and the pesky look-alikes that aren't before returning to the restaurant for a 4-course lunch and the chance to discuss what you've learned.

🎤 On Friday 19th June join us for an evening straight from "The Age Of Swing" with a roaring performance from Simon Partridge - The Vintage Singer including songs from the 1930's and 1940's alongside a 6-course tasting menu based around classical French and American dishes from the era.
