Evening Tribe, hope you're all well!

A great time at the sanctuary forever at the weekend, opened at 2.00 & was pretty much full up by 3.00 in the main arena so well done for getting people in so quickly with the many ques of people on entry that i saw!

Another stomping night had by all in the Techno room & again at 3.30 once the doors were opened it was again full within 10 mins from the que on the stairs going up.

I enjoyed the night particularly for 2 reasons, 1st, being playing 1st was a treat as i played some of the early slower Techno sounds of the early 90's of Mr Beltram & De Wulf & others before i finished the last 30 mins & that's when the heavy guns come out for those that like it faster, hard & RRRRaw to the core.

& 2nd was because my good life long friend Carl (a brother from another mother) who i used to go raving with back in 1988 when the rave scene kicked off in the UK with the underground events that were popping up in London & the big events of Sunrise & Biology of crowds of 25K that popped up in the country sides of the UK which we partied at together - as it was his time of hearing me play out at an event, l was nervous & it left me full of excitement knowing it was all new to him which he enjoyed to the max & it put a smile on my heart & face seeing him bouncing about like a kangaroo whenever i looked up.

I'm not sure if anyone else noticed as I could feel it, that you
& the floor was bouncing so much that my records were also jumping, l'll bring a remedy for that for next time as i was the
only one playing vinyl & it did remind me of the upstairs at the sanctuary! 🤣🤣🥰🤣🤣

l hope all those that came along enjoyed it as much as I did, It was great to see you all there, so thanks for your support.
l also saw quite a few of the children (25+) coming out with their parents to see & experience the stories that they would have told them about over the years.

So I think you might see me playing again an early on in the night in the future, I say future probably next year at the next Sanctuary Forever in November!

& yes i know i know, i know, as i was asked about my mirrored suit a lot through the night, will i be wearing it? well it's been mentioned to 1 of the organisers, so may appear at the
next event. But to be honest it's for you to ask for it as it's
what you want to see, so ask for it for next year as you pay for what you want to see! ;) ;) ;)

Happy New year everyone, hoping it started a good one so far for you all!

Here's a collection of interviews done at a Distant Planet event at the end of last year which is put on by Simon & Louise, which has a great vibe to it once it's in motion.

Where you can see myself & another DJ who I'm sure you'll all remember.

It also gives an explanation of my absence for the book of faces, which has kept me really busy over the last 3 years during & after the Lockdowns, (It's hard to believe the lockdowns arrived in the UK 5 years ago in march) as there's lots that has been done so far & still much more for me to be getting on with & done in 2025.

Evening Tribe! :)

Well that was a most enjoyable night at Sanctuary Forever Pt 1 on Saturday, playing some of the old slow stuff from way way back at the beginning of the Techno scene such as Mentasm, right up to some of the harder & the somewhat more twisted & demented stuff as such as Moby 1000 BPM. l noticed some who hadn't heard 1000 before looking & wondering WTF is happening & going on😲. Well that's what i do & if its bizarrrrre & abnormal you can be sure l'll be playing it. ;)

lt's pretty hard to encapsulate the Techno music of the 90's in just 1 hour & hope there was something for everyone who came along.

For the many who asked on the night & didn't get to see me wear my mirrored suit, well I'm sure you'll understand if l had worn it whist DJ'ing l probably would of been carried & taken out on a stretcher as it was extremely hot up there, with only about 3-4 ft celling space of air.

l did quickly pop into the D&B room to see a few DJ's i wishing to speak to, but it also had a low celling & was just as hot as the Techno room, which i think is something that needs to be addressed in both rooms rather than the main arena which had a much bigger production spent on lasers & lights.

Hopefully if there's another 1 they will improve in the Techno & D&B room with some industrial fans blowing cold air in from the exit doors when opened so you all remain safe & well & then maybe just maybe if they do i will wear my mirrored suit next time. But understand - " you " must request it as i will, as safety is paramount for all of us there + its what you all pay for within your tickets ;)

So thanks again to those who came along & took the journey with me & reminisced to the sounds of the 90's Techno.
