β¨JOB OPPORTUNITY β¨ Our Freya has some exciting plans for 2026 so she will be moving on after the Christmas parties, which means I'm looking for a new Peach, or two!
Title - Event Assistant - flexible support (most Saturdays, Sunday afternoons, events & seasonal)
Job Description
- Helping unload/load the van and set up/tidy away backdrop sets, props and potion tables etc
- Supporting the party lead by following the party plan and providing props/support/joining in at the right times
- Managing the stickers/tattoos/potion table
- Setting up chairs/tables for party guests
- If we're providing food - helping to prep the food, clearing up, serving drinks etc
- Tidying up, cleaning and resetting the room after the party
- Supporting at seasonal events as well as private parties

- prep food so you'll need to have great hygiene
- help doing makeup/nail painting at some parties

It'd be great if you already have some experience working in a similar role but that's not necessary if you have the right vibe.
I will need at least 2 references from people I can speak to - if you've not worked yet it's fine for these to be personal references from teachers etc.
The rate of pay will be living/minimum wage to start - this can be discussed and obviously will go up over time as you continue to make Mrs Peach's life easier! If you're able to take on the Party Lead role in time (or if you come in as a Party Lead) it'll reflect the role you're doing and will be agreed in advance!
The Event Assistant role can stay as a supporting role or can be a great way to learn how we do things which will allow you to lead parties on your own. The plan for the next year is to have a couple of new team members start - one Event Assistant to work Saturdays with Mrs Peach doing two full service parties at a single venue local to Leyland plus some Sunday parties and one Party Lead to take over some Saturday and/or Sunday afternoon parties and do them solo in and around the local area. The Party Lead will need to drive, have a reasonable sized vehicle to fit all the props in and be confident creating the magic solo so Mrs Peach can have a few days off each month!
