Meet James Rogers, our Kitchen Manager!

James joined the team back in June, bringing over 25 years of experience and a genuine passion for great food.

From the fast-paced world of gastro pubs and restaurants to running four successful businesses and working in high-volume London kitchens, James knows a thing or two about delivering exceptional food.

His heart, however, lies in rustic country cooking. Think slow-braised local venison, perfectly roasted pork belly and hearty dishes that celebrate quality, locally sourced ingredients.

Outside the kitchen, James is a true country and outdoors enthusiast who loves spending weekends with his wife and three children.

We’re delighted to have James leading our kitchen team and bringing his experience, creativity and passion to everything we do!

Milk and dairy foods can provide a range of important nutrients for growing children, including calcium and protein, as part of a healthy, balanced diet.

During the early years, offering children a varied diet helps provide the nutrients they need while also introducing them to different tastes, textures and foods.

At Zebedees, nutrition is at the heart of our approach to nursery catering, with menus carefully considered to support little ones throughout their busy nursery days.

This World School Milk Day, we're celebrating the role that good nutrition can play in supporting growing little bodies.

What a night at the Nursery World Awards! 🏆

We were incredibly proud to sponsor the Nursery Manager of the Year Award at this year's Nursery World Awards, but we couldn't quite believe it when the winner was announced!

A huge congratulations to Sue Thomas, Owner and Nursery Manager of Teddy Bears Nursery in Hove – one of Zebedees' longest-standing clients. 💚

Sue has an incredible 40 years' experience in the early years sector and opened Teddy Bears Nursery in 1991. More than 35 years later, she still works full-time at the setting, which holds an Outstanding status, alongside a dedicated team who have an amazing 100 years of experience between them.

We've had the privilege of providing meals to Teddy Bears for 17 years, so being there to present Sue with the Nursery Manager of the Year Award made the evening particularly special for all of us.

It was a brilliant evening celebrating the people and nurseries doing such fantastic work across the early years sector, and we loved catching up with familiar faces and meeting lots of new ones too.

Congratulations again, Sue! A thoroughly deserved achievement and a very special moment for us to share with you. 🏆💚

⛳ Teeing off for a fantastic cause! 💚

Four of our Zebedees golfers, Ady, Robin, Steve and Scott, recently took part in the Captain’s Charity Golf Day at Eastbourne Golf Club, raising funds for the Eastbourne Dementia Action Alliance. 🏌️‍♂

The team faced some stiff competition and finished with a combined score of 80 points. There may not have been any trophies coming back to Zebedees this time, but it was all for a much more important cause! 👏

An incredible £14,000 was raised for charity through the event a fantastic achievement and one we were delighted to play a small part in. 💚

Well done to everyone involved in organising, supporting and taking part in such a brilliant day! ⛳
