On Sunday 20th April the Easter Bunny will be visiting the Fife Heritage Railway for a day full of fun family activities and train journeys.

Booking for this event is now live on the FHR website: https://www.fifeheritagerailway.co.uk/easterbunnybooking

There will also be a free shuttle bus in operation throughout the day which will provide a link to and from three Easter events taking place around the local area that day so that people can visit them all!

This year the event will include a number of stalls where you can purchase the following items...

- Digital Transport Art
- Model Buses and Trains
- Bus Related Memorabilia

These stalls will accept cash and card payments and will be located at the entrance of the event grounds opposite the pay booth and bus stop

Happy New Year Everyone

Bus Bundle 2025 is now less than 4 months away and we are very much looking forward to it.

We have so far confirmed a number of fantastic looking participant vehicles and there are many more to come, we can also now confirm the participation of several transport related stalls that will be selling transport related models and other items.

There will be a variety of frequent free bus routes including our popular runs to Bonnybank Turning Circle and Halbeath/Kirkcaldy shuttles, full details on the routes and timetables will be soon.

Where it all began...

On 27th September 2022 the youth members of the Fife Heritage Railway introduced their idea to host an event that would bring the world of trains and buses together in perfect harmony.

This was followed by months of planning and communication with bus owners and companies, many of whom showed a great interest in either attending the event or giving some advice to the organisers.

Then the big day came, Sunday 28th May 2023 and what a day it was. Hundreds of people attended to enjoy stalls, food, train and bus journeys and even some fire engines too.

A few days later, after Bus Bundle was confirmed as one of the highest earning days of 2023 for the FHR, it was decided that this event would be an annual one, and then we did it all again in 2024.

And now it's time for round 3, bring on 2025!
