Calling all heroes, villains, and creative masterminds! The Letchworth Comic Con Art Competition is back, and bigger than ever! This is your chance to show off your comic book flair, and it’s completely FREE to enter.

Grab your pens, pencils, or tablets and bring your imagination to life on paper.

Broadway Gallery will be hosting and supporting the Comic Con Art Competition from Wednesday 24 June – Saturday 11 July 2026, with prize winners announced on Saturday 27 June 2026 as part of the Comic Con celebrations.

Prize Categories
• Ages 5–11
• Ages 12–16
• Ages 17+

How to Enter
Free and open to everyone.
Submit one unframed artwork, no larger than A4, single-sided.

What to Create
Anything comic-inspired — fan art, favourite heroes or villains, your own characters, or original comic stories.

How to Apply
Submissions will open on Wednesday 20 May. Once you have completed the application form on website, simply place your creation in an A4 envelope and deliver it to the Broadway Gallery before Saturday 20 June.
Please mark the envelope with “Comic Con Art Competition” along with your name. Remember to clearly write your name on the reverse of the artwork.

We’re thrilled to be part of this year’s Comic Con celebrations, and while submissions don’t open until May, now is the perfect time to start sketching, planning, and bringing those ideas to life.

Whether you’re designing a brand‑new character or putting your own spin on a comic classic, we’d love to see what you come up with.
