Look at this beauty! I bought this rose 18 months ago and planted it into my pink and purple border. It has a superb, rich fragrance with beautiful double petals.

The rose was purchased locally from The Timeless Collection. “Home Florist,” an international award-winning Hybrid Tea rose. It is also suitable for a patio container and is a brilliant cut flower. It flowers from June-September.

Absolutely ❤️ it. I am trying to enjoy its beauty in the garden and not get my secateurs out! 😂

I have had the most wonderful day with Andrea Gilpin learning how to take beautiful images and videos with an iPhone at Stocktonbury Gardens.

The morning session was all about Intent, Composition, Light and Exposure. We focused on all the above with clear verbal explanation, and Q & A which was so interesting before we ventured into the garden to put into practice what we had learnt in the classroom.

A brilliant teacher and communicator who gave her experience and knowledge as a photographer freely making sure as a group we felt comfortable. Andrea then covered using some of the different features on our phones to enhance our photography.

We all had the opportunity to either stay as a group or wonder around the most beautiful rooms within the gardens and practice different methods on each photo we took. One-one tuition was also available to each participate if required.

After the most delicious lunch in The Tithe Barn with friendly staff we returned to the classroom for a session on how to use different apps to edit our images. Then back out into the gardens to cover more techniques on how to take a video clip, with confidence not shaky, blurred or even miss the subject matter!

It was so great meeting such a lovely group of ladies, with a passion for gardening, arts, crafts and their small businesses.

Thank you Tamsin for organising this amazing course and thank you Andrea for giving us all the confidence to take beautiful photographs and videos for our businesses and social media. A full day of hands-on learning. This is certainly a course not to be missed at Stocktonbury Gardens.

I have had the most amazing weekend with my family in the Lake District.

Went on a combined trip on the Haverthwaite Railway and Windermere lake cruise. What a beautiful experience! And the sun shone all weekend.

Sometimes we all need a little break from our businesses and we come back refreshed. 😎☀️

Whether you’re a small startup or a mature corporation, the key to success is building trust 🔑

Trust is something I work hard to foster in all of my business and client relationships.

When there’s a foundation of trust, businesses can lift each other up and help each other grow.

With my clients, especially as an online business these days, I always put customer service first. I genuinely enjoy making people happy and delivering quality service.

It’s not easy running a small business. It is hard work, but what keeps you going and growing is the love and sweat you have put into it.

Thank you to all of the businesses and people who have put their trust in me 🩷

I designed this bespoke arrangement for a private client last week. Some of the flowers and foliage I have used are Nigella, steelgrass, clematis, lavender, and Orlaya, such a delicate flower. Let’s bring the outside in to enjoy 💐

Let us talk about this gorgeous white tulip named “Honeymoon” 🤍 I always recommend it to my brides because of its finely serrated edges. Their stems are long and strong, suitable as a buttonhole, and they are also loved by gardeners. The tulips flower late April into May.

A huge Thank you to Harrogate Spring Flower Show for inviting me to deliver this NEW interactive concept of teaching Sustainable Workshops to the general public. It has been a huge success and brilliant to deliver as so many people really enjoyed these activities. Both adults, students, demonstrators, competitors, teachers and even young children enjoyed these workshops delivered during the morning and afternoon sessions over the course of 4 days. It gives me enormous pleasure seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces learning a new skill which can be transferred to their own homes. It is also wonderful to teach something new to college students, the concept of using dried petals to design stained glass windows. I discovered this technique accidentally whilst preparing for a flower demonstration about 10 years ago and have developed the method over several years. As a florist and educator I would encourage anyone wishing to further their floristry education or learn a new skill to enroll at a college and be taught by professional lecturers, this is were you will learn the most in your subject area. The students in these photos were from Morton Morrell College, their tutors are highly skilled and deliver effectively. The world is your oyster when you learn from professionals in the trade. Thank you all for coming and visiting me on my stand. 🌷🙌x
