'New Light Through Old Windows': Chapter 1

It's an exciting time, and as the regeneration of the Hall begins, we are keeping a video diary to log the journey over the next 12 months. We hope it can be an important record in the wonderful history of the Hall, and one to look back on in many years to come.

We will post a chapter every now and then as things progress and take shape. We hope you enjoy!

Plans have now been officially announced, and you can have a read about our journey to where we are now and what’s ahead for our wonderful hall!

Keep an eye for updates over the coming months!

Plans for the refurbishment of Campsie Memorial Hall in Lennoxtown have taken a significant step forward as the partners involved in the £2.279m project achieved financial close.

The milestone was reached between the Council, development partner hub West Scotland and main contractor Linear Design & Construct for the revamp of the much-loved venue in the heart of the town.

The project will involve the extensive refurbishment and restoration of the existing Victorian building to create a state-of-the-art facility that will accommodate a number of regular community groups and clubs.

The hall will close its doors to the public on Monday 14 April to allow for a decant before extensive internal and external works begin in May. Completion is scheduled for early 2026.
