A lot of people ask me for raw footage, and I totally understand why, but in my case, delivering raw files isn’t possible without proper editing.
I shoot in LOG, which is a special camera profile designed to capture the maximum dynamic range and detail. Instead of baking in contrast, colour, and sharpness in-camera, LOG records a very flat, desaturated, grey-looking image. This isn’t a mistake. it’s intentional. LOG preserves highlights, shadows, and colour information so nothing is lost during filming.
Because of that, LOG footage is not meant to be viewed as-is. Until it’s colour corrected and colour graded, it will look washed out and unfinished. The “life” — contrast, accurate skin tones, rich colours, mood, and style — all come from the grading process.
I use LOG because it gives me:
• More detail in highlights and shadows
• Better color accuracy
• Higher overall image quality
• More creative control over the final look
Every clip I deliver is carefully colour corrected first (to make it natural and balanced), and then colour graded (to create a consistent, polished aesthetic). This step is a huge part of my work and is essential to how the final video looks and feels.
Without this process, the footage wouldn’t represent my quality, my style, or the standard I hold my work to. That’s why I don’t deliver unedited LOG files — the edit and grade aren’t “extras,” they’re part of the product.
