Amy & Tom’s wedding at Notley Tythe Barn was the perfect blend of timeless elegance and thoughtful personal touches. Amy had such a clear vision from the very beginning, and it was a joy to bring every detail to life exactly as she’d imagined.

Soft dusky pink tones, elegant floating candles creating the most romantic glow, and the breathtaking florals by .secretgardenflorist came together beautifully to transform the barn into a warm, intimate space for their family and friends.

One of my favourite parts of wedding styling is taking a couple’s ideas and turning them into a space that feels completely them. Every detail throughout the venue reflected Amy & Tom’s love story, making the whole day feel incredibly personal and unforgettable.

For those who don’t know me, I’m Sam from Samsa May’s. I’ve been coordinating weddings for 8 years, helping couples across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Northamptonshire and beyond enjoy a wedding day that’s calm, seamless and full of unforgettable moments.

People often think my job is all about timelines and checklists (and yes, there are plenty of those! 😉), but it’s also about creating the atmosphere where you can truly switch off and soak up every second.

✨ The most beautiful lakeside “I do”… ✨

There is something so special about an outdoor wedding ceremony, especially when it’s set against the stunning lake at Furtho Manor Farm. 💚

For Mat & Emma’s wedding on Saturday, my role was to ensure every detail of their ceremony was beautifully styled and seamlessly coordinated. From preparing the ceremony space and perfecting every chair, aisle and floral detail, to cueing the bridal party, working alongside the string quartet and making sure everything ran effortlessly, every moment was carefully managed so the couple could simply enjoy saying “I do.”

The elegant sage green styling blended perfectly with the countryside setting, while the breathtaking florals by Wilde Flower Boutique created the most romantic backdrop for such an unforgettable moment.

There’s nothing quite like watching a couple walk down the aisle knowing every detail has been taken care of behind the scenes. Those are the moments I love being part of. 🤍

After 18 months of styling, planning, mood boards, venue visits and bringing every detail together, seeing the wedding breakfast ready for Tracy & James was a moment I’ll never forget. Every candle, napkin, floral arrangement and finishing touch was exactly where it belonged.

This is the moment I always cherish – standing back before the guests arrive and seeing a couple’s wedding vision become reality. It’s why I love being a wedding stylist.

✨ Peach & Blush Pink Wedding Styling at The White Hart, Ampthill ✨

The White Hart was the perfect setting for Tracy & James’ beautiful wedding day, where every part of the celebration flowed seamlessly from ceremony to reception.

We began by styling the ceremony room with soft peach and blush pink florals, elegant details and subtle gold accents, creating a romantic backdrop for Tracy & James to say “I do.”

Once the ceremony had finished, it was time for a full room turnaround. While the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed canapés, drinks and celebrated together, we transformed the space into a stunning banquet-style wedding breakfast.

The finished reception featured beautifully dressed banquet tables with peach and blush pink wedding styling, luxurious gold details and carefully curated finishing touches that created an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere. Every element was thoughtfully placed to complement the venue and bring Tracy & James’ vision to life.

Peach and blush will always be one of my favourite colour palettes. It’s timeless, romantic and works beautifully with gold, adding warmth and elegance without ever feeling overpowering.

A huge thank you to the amazing team at The White Hart for another fantastic day of teamwork. It takes a great team behind the scenes to make these seamless room transformations happen, and it’s always a pleasure working together.
