These are the bits I love.

The yes photos. The reviews that make me do a little oh 🥹 when I read them. The I really wasn’t expecting to find it today moments.

There have been a few of all three last week, so I thought they deserved a little spot on here.

I never want any of this to become ordinary. Someone trusting me to help them find their dress is still a pretty lovely way to spend my days.

And as for the reviews… I’ll let my brides do the talking 🤍

I fear I may have chosen too well.

The first three dresses have arrived at Emi Alice and they are GOOD.

Great shapes. Incredible fabrics. Unexpected little details. The sort of dresses that make you want to get a little closer.

I didn’t come into bridal through sales. I came through editorial.

From bridal magazines, including Brides at Condé Nast, I moved into brand and marketing for bridal designers, years spent immersed in the dresses, the collections and the industry behind them.

Twenty years later, I’m still not remotely bored of wedding dresses.

And that experience has shaped Emi Alice Bridal.

I know dresses. I know designers. I know when something is beautifully cut, when a fabric is worth getting excited about and when there’s something on the rail you might never have considered for yourself.

But an appointment with me is about getting to know you.

Your style, what you’re drawn to, what you definitely don’t want and what your version of bridal looks like.

Every dress is chosen by me and every appointment is with me, so the same eye that curates the collection is there with you when you try it.

I’ll offer ideas, share an honest opinion when you want one and give you the space to decide how you feel.

No sales pitch. No pressure.

Just someone who really knows bridal, taking the time to get to know you.

When I created Emi Alice Bridal, I wanted finding your dress to feel calm, personal and genuinely enjoyable.

No pressure, no feeling rushed. Just beautiful gowns for the modern bride, a relaxed space and time to work out what you really love.

I’ve worked in bridal for over 20 years, and every appointment here is with me, one bride at a time. I’ll listen, guide you when you need me and give you the time to enjoy the experience without ever feeling pressured into a decision.

And I think the thing I’m most proud of is that you only have to read my Google reviews to see the same words come up again and again, calm, relaxed, no pressure, beautiful dresses. Because that’s exactly how I want every bride to feel when she comes through my door.

You’ll find me in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, around 35 minutes from West Ham, London.

POV: The first dress won.

One of the questions I hear most often is “Should I keep looking?”

My answer is always the same: Are you unsure about the dress, or are you unsure because you think you’re supposed to keep looking?

Those are two very different things.

I’ve had brides apologise for finding their dress at the first appointment, as though certainty needed to be earned.

It doesn’t.

If you feel like yourself in it and you can’t stop thinking about it, that feeling is worth trusting. 📸
