I’m not usually one to give myself much credit, but looking back at how far Blumie Flowers has come over the past year makes me feel incredibly proud and I couldn’t have done it without all of you and of course support from my family and friends 🥹

Some flowers are much harder to create than others. 🖤

This was my first funeral tribute since completing my floristry training, and honestly, I never imagined that one of my first tributes would be for someone I knew personally.

That made creating this heart feel very different and difficult. When you know the person you are creating flowers for, every little detail carries so much more meaning.

I wanted this tribute to feel soft, gentle and full of love - something that reflected the person she was and the love her family has for her.

When I sat with her family to talk through the design and colours, they told me that pinks, whites and lilacs would be perfect. It was such a lovely feeling to later realise that I had captured them so perfectly. The soft blush, ivory and lilac tones came together just as they had imagined for her. 🤍

The little bunny was added alongside a blanket, because blankets were something she loved. 🐰🤍
It’s such a small personal detail, but sometimes those little touches say the most.

The family also chose to add a ribbon with their own beautiful words, making the tribute even more personal and full of love.

Thank you to her family for trusting me with something so incredibly personal. It was an honour to create this for her. 🤍

Working with local businesses is always such a joy 🌿

This week I had the pleasure of creating a collection of dried flower vase arrangements for a beautiful pub .
Request was spring vibe, did I deliver? I would say so! 😌

I designed each arrangement to feel light, fresh and colourful. Every piece was created slightly different from the others, so each table has its own little character rather than repeating the same design. I paid a lot of attention to the small details to make sure every arrangement feels thoughtful and unique ✨

Dried florals are perfect for busy venues, they keep their charm for months and add that cosy, rustic touch that fits the style of The Shires Inn perfectly!

Grateful for the opportunity to collaborate and see my flowers become part of such a beautiful space 💚
