Celebrating 10 years, UPRISING returns to Leicester's O2 Academy for a huge milestone event, with returning favourites and heavy hitters making their debut.
Kicking off the announcements for Uprising 9 are…
UK metallers PITCHSHIFTER are confirmed as headliners for Uprising! This will be the band’s only live performance in 2026 and as always it promises to be unmissable. The band’s career straddles 30 years, 10 albums, tours of over 30 countries, cover features in Metal Hammer, Rock Sound and Kerrang! magazines, John Peel and Radio One Rock Show Sessions, and profile slots at Ozzfest, Reading & Leeds, Damnation, Vans Warped Tour and the Big Day Out.
Scream it with us: “OFFICER DOWN!” Making their long-awaited Uprising debut are none other than Cheltenham’s own STAMPIN’ GROUND, legendary titans of the UK heavy music scene. Fusing crushing aggression with razor-sharp melody, their sound is as ferocious as it is unforgettable.
With hits such as “Egg Sandwich,” “Satan’s Trampoline,” and “Flying Killer Cobs from the Planet Bob”, ooh crikey, it’s LAWNMOWER DETH! We last saw LAWNMOWER DETH at Uprising II in 2017.
Making their Uprising debut are Northern metalcore quartet MANØRS. Following airplay on BBC Radio 1 and successful performances at Call of the Wild and Wildfire Festival, the band are making their mark on the UK unsigned metal scene.
Bringing a powerful change of pace to Uprising are hard rockers PRYMA, renowned for their electrifying stage presence and relentless energy. The band has earned a reputation across the UK rock and metal scene through extensive touring, including sharing the stage with Blaze Bayley.
Returning to Uprising after their electrifying performance on the main stage at Uprising 6, HAWXX are back—and louder than ever. Describing themselves as the musical embodiment of a feral sisterhood, HAWXX aim to “be the thread that binds us together in love and rage,” with women and the q***r community at the heart of everything they do.
FRACTIONS return to Uprising’s monumental 10th anniversary! The local heroes are back and louder than ever. Known for their critically acclaimed sound, FRACTIONS shared the stage with progressive metal heavyweights Tesseract on their Russian tour in 2018.
