Unfortunately we have officially made the decision to cancel the East Goscote Family Fun Day and Yard Sale 2026.

We’ve had barely any interest in the yard sale (19 households) and not enough stalls for the fun day (15). Please try and support your local events as sadly we can’t run without your support😢

Hopefully we will come back with a bang for 2027🤞🏻

To any stallholders and yard sale participants, please contact us with your bank details and we will refund any fees you have paid.

Unfortunately we’ve had no one get in touch to volunteer to help on the day, two raffle prizes donated and 14 households signed up to the yard sale.

If these numbers don’t change drastically in the next week, I think we may have to cancel the event altogether as the yard sale brings people out for the fun day and vice versa so I don’t think there would be any point in doing one without the other.

There’s also other big events taking place locally on the same day along with people being away for the summer holidays. It’s a difficult decision that we’re going to have to make shortly. Unfortunately it seems that people don’t want to support the event this year😢

WE NEED YOU!!!

We desperately need some volunteers, if you can spare even an hour it would help so so much. We just need some trustworthy people to take payments for the bouncy castle🙏🏻If you want to teach your kids money handling skills etc we’d be more than happy to accept parent and child volunteers!
