If I'm not mistaken this young birthday girl's just realising how warm a skinny pig feels when you touch them for the first time 😊 hairless guinea pigs can't regulate their temperature very well but if you always keep them warm with lots of snuggly blankets they feel great when you stroke them!

We visited a session run by Leicester Mammas at the Netherhall Children's Centre last month & here's a few pics from the day. As you can see Tula was a hit as usual & Bailey, Patch & Pongo had a field day with their veggie treats!

Sometimes at care home visits there maybe residents wanting to join in with the animals but are unable to join the main group in the lounge. On a recent visit to the ever helpful & willing Emily, whose in charge of activities, took Bailey the rabbit to visit a few residents in their rooms - looks like he went down a storm! 😊🐇 get in touch if you would like to book a visit to your home

The trick for all the Guinea Pigs at parties is to rotate their snacks - Pongo the skinny pig likes to start with a carrot & then wants to swap to cabbage when he gets bored! Pepper in the bottom left picture is a carrots only man & Patch is going for the both at once option at this particular encounter & why not? After all it is a birthday party!
