We often get asked by folks looking to get into the hobby 'what's a good first kit to build?' or 'where do I start?' We've taken that on board and want to give attendees in that very scenario an opportunity to build their first ever kit, for free!

Throughout the day in our Activities Room we'll be having Beginner Model Kit Building Workshops where folks can build their first ever kit! We'll provide everything you need to take part - the kit, the tools, etc - and our team will be on hand to guide you every step of the way. Oh and did we mention, you get to take the model you build home with you too!

If you want to look it up, the kit you'll be building is a Workshop Gundam RX-78-2, a great place to start your journey of building kits!

At its core, building model kits is a huge part of the history Gundam Mad, that ultimately leading to Day of the Gundam even happening, and is a massive reason why we (and likely you reading this) have connected with so many people. So it's our chance to help folks find out why we love this so much!
