Singapore always seems to deliver, and this year it came in the form of a historic win for Max Verstappen.

He started from pole and pulled clear to win at the only circuit on the current calendar where he had never won, at his tenth attempt and on his 250th Grand Prix start. Charles Leclerc and Kimi Antonelli completed the podium in front of a sold-out weekend crowd of 301,294, the second-highest attendance in the race’s history.

December is the month to plan around.

We have 24 Premier League fixtures across the month, covering every club except Ipswich and Newcastle, with Boxing Day back to a full programme of seven matches.

Away from the football, Joshua and Fury meet at the Principality Stadium on 11 December, Abu Dhabi hosts the Formula 1 season finale, and the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express takes you from Vienna’s Christmas markets to Paris.

A walking machine with someone living inside his chest. A dinner party hanging upside down from the ceiling. A circus you can hear but can’t see.

This is KURIOS – Cabinet of Curiosities, and it returns to the Royal Albert Hall from 13 January to 28 February 2027.

Its first London run in 2023 broke Cirque du Soleil’s attendance record in the city. This time London is the final stop of the European tour.

A taste of San Sebastián, from our Michelin Tour earlier this month.

Our guests stayed at the Hotel María Cristina and dined at Martín Berasategui’s three-star restaurant and at two-star Amelia by Paulo Airaudo. We took care of the flights, transfers and every reservation, so all they had to do was enjoy the food and the company.

In April it was signed, with no venue and no date. Now we have both.

Oasis Live ’27 has been announced:

38 dates across the UK, Europe and the USA. Five nights at Celtic Park. Eleven at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium. Then Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, Boston, Las Vegas and Slane Castle, before four final nights at Knebworth.

The comeback filled stadiums in 2025. In 2027, Oasis do it all again.

There are comebacks, and then there’s what Daniel Dubois did in Manchester.

Ten seconds in, he was on the canvas. Down again in the third. From there he should have been finished, but instead he took the fight apart round by round. Wardley’s body failed him but his heart wouldn’t let him quit. Big shot after big shot landed for Dubois and eventually the referee had seen enough, waving it off in round eleven. Dubois walked away with the WBO belt and Wardley immediately called for the rematch. Frank Warren said it the best heavyweight fight he’d ever promoted.

The fight is undoubtedly on the shortlist for Fight of the Year. The question is, can they deliver the same again just five months later?

Pierre Gasly stunned the grid with his first pole in 190 starts, and led into the first corner. Behind him it unravelled fast: Leclerc and Hamilton went wheel-to-wheel into Turn 2, Hamilton ran wide through the gravel and dropped to 10th, and on lap two Leclerc lost the rear at Parabolica and buried it in the barrier. Red flag, and a Tifosi crowd with nothing left to cheer.

Except a 20-year-old from Bologna who started 19th. Kimi Antonelli carved through the field, took fresh tyres under a virtual safety car, rode his luck through a moment in the gravel, and passed his own team-mate to win his home race, the first Italian to win at Monza since 1966. Russell held on for second, a Mercedes one-two, though he left the podium to boos in Ferrari country.

Gasly faded to seventh but wasn’t complaining. Hamilton recovered to third before fading to sixth, still chasing a first Monza win since 2018. And Antonelli leaves Italy with the championship lead stretched to 66 points.

We’ve run the Belmond British Pullman and Silverstone for years. This time we’ve put the two together to make one of the best days out in British sport.

Race day at the home of Formula 1, reached the way it ought to be: brunch and Ch*****ne on a restored 1920s Pullman on the way out of London, the British Grand Prix in the afternoon, and a three-course dinner on the way home. Travel in a shared carriage, a private coupé for four, or take the whole of Celia for twelve.

The 2027 date is provisional for now but you can register your interest and we’ll tell you the day it’s confirmed.
