👋SPOTLIGHT OF THE WEEK👋

This weeks Artist of the week is on another returning performer to our Perform for a Cause event in September Paige Harris.

Paige did her first event with us back in March and is really looking forward to returning for the second time in September. She is a versatile performer who is currently performing professionally in a show in Belgium 🇧🇪

Paige has become a big part of the Iconic team since joining us in March and can’t wait for what the future holds.

🎉This weeks Spotlight is on returning PFAC artists Charmaine and Curtis or Midnight Serenade as they’re better known. This fabulous duo spread fun and good vibes with their jazzy style and impeccable talents.

✨ PERFORM FOR A CAUSE - PERFORMER SPOTLIGHT✨

This week’s performer spotlight is non other than comedian Robert Skeems.

Robert bought barrels of laughs to our audiences with his unique and hilarious jokes and stories. He was a great addition to the night and certainly left the crowd wanting more.

Robert was thrilled to perform with us and here’s what he had to say:

‘I found performing on this PFAC event an absolute joy. To be performing on the same stage as some unbelievable talent for a great cause was a genuine honour and I really hope I get to do it again one day.’

We would love to have you back for even more laughs at the next Perform For A Cause event Robert!🎷🎙️

✨ PERFORM FOR A CAUSE -PERFORMER SPOTLIGHT✨

Another week another performer spotlight from our recent Performance for a cause event. This time the Spotlight is on Duo Midnight Serenade.

They brought good vibes and energy right to the last note. With Curtis on the Sax and Charmaine on vocals they gave the audience a show of old school jazz style fused with modern day songs. Midnight Serenade always add a touch of glamour to our events.

Charmaine was glad to be a part of it and here’s what she had to say:

‘This was my third perform for a cause event and was without a doubt our biggest and best yet! It was so exciting to have such a huge variety of artists involved this time round, each who had different and very personal connections to the cause. I particularly loved what Rob added to the night with his light hearted comedy sets.
I just love being part of these events whether it be performing my own sets or supporting the other artists. I’m already looking forward to the next one!’

✨PERFORM FOR A CAUSE - PERFORMER SPOTLIGHT✨

Last weeks event welcomed many amazing performances. This weeks spotlight is on dancer Paige Jemma Harris.

This was Paige’s first Perform For A Cause event and she certainly didn’t disappoint. Bringing Traditional Jazz and Pointe Ballet to the event really added something extra to the night. She also touched hearts with her personal story towards the meaning of the event ‘su***de awareness in students and young people’.

Paige really enjoyed the night and said ‘This event was so fun to be part of and I was honoured to be able to bring awareness to such an important topic. Being able to do this through dance was even more special to me. I always aim to spread joy through my dancing and this was a great way to do just that.’

We loved having you Paige and can’t wait to see what you have to offer in future!!

🎤WHAT A NIGHT🎤

Another amazing Perform for a Cause event went off with a blast last night. This time raising awareness of su***de in young people and students. A huge thank you to each and every performer and creative involved in making it such a fantastic success. Hard work, dedication and enthusiasm really pays off.

An evening of Singing, Dancing, Music and Comedy that couldn't have happened without all of the audience support and your donations. Not to mention a huge thank you to De Montfort University Leicester for their continual support in helping events like this happen. A great night really was had by all.

We're all still on a high but it's back to the office to plan the next big Perform for A Cause event coming your way. Meanwhile, here are last nights performers in action.

The countdown is on! Just 3 days until Perform for a Cause—a powerful night of music, drama, and dance to raise awareness about su***de among students and young people.

Join us on Thursday, March 20, 2025, as we turn the spotlight on this important issue. Together, we can inspire hope, spark conversations, and make a difference.
