redients and meat from our family farm. We have a number of setups to suit different catering venues - we can turn up in a field off grid and feed a table service 5 course meal to 300-400 diners, or varying menus to a festival style teepee wedding or marquee, or serve within a barn or building, or make use of a commercial kitchen if available, or cook offsite and serve only onsite. We can also deliver a HotHog expertly roasted by us and delivered to you ready to carve and serve.

Many don't know that behind our catering is our small farm, with our small herd of Dexter cattle producing some outstanding beef - time to stock up your freezer with a small 11kg beef pack perhaps?

Dexters are a small Irish breed of cattle - slowly reared here on the farm using a grass diet they produce some outstanding beef which we properly hang. The beef is rich and full of flavour meaning it will go further tastewise in your dishes which you can pack out with vegetables and still taste the beef

Our Story

We started catering back in 2007 under the banner ‘Keythorpe Event Catering’ with our own meaty burgers, dry cured bacon and meaty sausages from our family farm. An email from a new client asking if we could provide a hog roast at a birthday celebration saw us borrowing a spit roast machine and learning how to spit roast, and Leicester Hog Roast Company was born offering spit roast machine hire, HotHogs delivered ready to carve and serve to a fully catered hog roast package. Since then we’ve expanded our catering to include carveries, barbecue, paella, big pot dishes, pies, Italian, stone fired pizza, juicy jacket potatoes, Mexican, with all our food being home made using quality locally sourced ingredients and meat from our farm wherever possible. Hog Roasting in and around Leicestershire and surrounding counties (Rutland, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire and parts of Lincolnshire, Derbyshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Cambridgeshire). We will travel further afield for larger bookings (corporate family fun days and mini festival weddings etc where we can provide a full range with hogroast/pulled pork, bbq with a full range of sides and salads including deserts, starters, coffee, tea, crockery and cutlery hire. From field to fork Leicester Hog Roast Company use the best hogs and then slowly roast them to perfection for your event - it really is crackling stuff! Leicester Hog Roast Company are different from every other hog roast company - why? Because the hogs are not simply bought in from the local abattoir but are raised on the same farm where the Leicester Hog Roast Company are based! And when it comes to pigs we know what we're talking about. Raised with high welfare standards and to traditional husbandry our pigs produce succulent juicy pork with real flavour, and of course there's our crispy crackling.
