🚛 It’s only 8am… and we’ve already been busy.

This morning we’ve already:

🚛 Loaded yet another artic for a festival job
🚧 Delivered pedestrian barriers into in Leicester for a corporate client
🚐 Kept our own vehicles moving in between

Two completely different types of customer — one corporate, one festival — but both needed the same thing from us:

the right equipment, at the right place, at the right time.

And one of these jobs only came in at 5pm yesterday.

That’s where having the stock, the team and the ability to react quickly really matters.

Some customers plan months ahead. Others need something sorting with very little notice. Either way, the goal is the same — do everything we can to fulfil the job properly and keep the event moving.

And it’s not even breakfast time yet… 😅

Another busy Bank Holiday weekend continues for the My Event Hire team.

🚛 THIS is what a busy Bank Holiday ahead weekend looks like behind the scenes…

We’ve been a little quiet on social media over the last few days — but definitely not quiet at My Event Hire HQ

The team have been absolutely flat out supporting festivals and large events taking place around the country, and these photos show just one part of what’s been moving through the warehouse.

Over the last few days we’ve had:

🚛 3 artic loads
🚛 1 x 18-tonne load
🚛 1 x 7.5-tonne load
🚐 Plus our own vans and trailers out on the road as well

…all helping move a huge amount of event furniture and equipment in and out for events across the UK.

And once everything comes back, the job still isn’t finished. We have to prepare for what looks like another crazy busy week next week.

Every item has to be unloaded, counted, checked, cleaned, repaired where needed and put back into stock ready for the next booking.

This is the side of event hire people don’t always see — the drivers, warehouse team, planning, loading, miles, late collections and constant logistics that sit behind every successful event.

A massive thank you to the whole team for keeping everything moving through to another huge Bank Holiday weekend. 💪

And we’re nearly there… just one final artic collection at 8pm tonight before we can finally call this one complete. Untill tomorrow 😅

👀 The side of event hire you don’t always see…

When people see an event finished and looking great, it’s easy to forget what goes on behind the scenes to make it happen.

Back at the warehouse, it’s a constant cycle of:

equipment coming back in, being unloaded, counted, checked, cleaned, fixed, repaired, painted, touched up, stacked, stored… and then prepared ready to head back out again.

This photo is a perfect example.

To most people, it’s just a stack of tables and warehouse equipment. To us, it’s stock being turned around, maintained and made ready for the next wedding, corporate event, festival or celebration.

There’s a lot that happens between “your order is booked” and “your event is ready.”

It takes planning, warehouse space, lifting, loading, checking, cleaning, maintenance, repairs and plenty of hands-on work to keep everything looking presentable and working as it should.

That’s the bit customers don’t always see — but it’s a huge part of what makes My Event Hire work.
