New kit alert.

We've just added the Prolights Astra Hybrid330 to the Premier inventory. A 330W LED hybrid moving head with a 3-50° zoom range, linear CMY, dual prisms, animation wheel, and a 140mm front lens that produces some seriously punchy output.

They arrived, and they are already out on a job. June's that kind of month.

This week, we're on-site delivering a conference in Birmingham, and it's a true full-team effort with our Event Management, Premier Studios, Premier Connects, and AV Production teams all pulling together.

Our Event Management team are busy finalising the details and wrangling a whole heap of tables. The Studios team are producing the show, and our AV Production team are busy behind control - ensuring audio, lighting, and visuals are all taken care of.

It's the first week of June, which means things are about to get very busy.

The car park is full. A trailer and set are getting wrapped, and our warehouse is packed with prepped kit and... cactus?

This week alone: a breakout room, multiple exhibition stands, registration support, and a whole load of online orders over at Premier Woodshop.

June is the last month before the school holidays, so it's always a big one for conferences. Our clients know it, and so do we.

SQLBits 2026 at ICC Wales. A lot going on behind the scenes on this one.

8 breakout rooms all running simultaneously, every session livestreamed across 8 separate 9-hour streams per day, every delegate in the expo able to tune into whichever room they wanted via IR headsets. All of it controlled from a single desk.

The setup ran through the full venue infrastructure with picture-in-picture output feeding into the edge-blend wall in the main expo space. No small feat.

Midway through the show the brief changed. We adapted on the fly and delivered exactly what was needed without the audience ever noticing.

Last week, Ella took to the stage for her first-ever panel at the Electric Cat networking event. 🎉

Alongside Hatty Cadman and Stephanie, she got into the stuff that actually matters. What's driven real results this year, not just looked good in a report. How Premier's Marketing strategy has shifted in 2026- moving from building personal brand to focusing more on brand-level content and PR, whilst keeping things human-led.

Watching the team get opportunities like this is one of the best bits of the job. Ella smashed it.

Sun's out, it's a bank holiday weekend, and it's Foodie Friday. The team headed outside, grabbed some good food, and took a proper break.

We can't control the weather, but Foodie Friday we can. And honestly? It's a small thing that makes a big difference.
