Nothing says “you’re about to have a good night” quite like an LED tunnel entrance and this one has to be our favourite of 2026.

The ICC Birmingham is a big venue and we wanted the guest experience to start before anyone even reached their tables.

The contrast of bold LED lighting against draping florals and foliage completely changed the feel of the space. Just like stepping into your favourite bar for the night rather than an awards dinner!

The details are always the difference between good and “WOW, I can’t believe you did this!”

From table centre hire to statement event props, this is where the room really starts to come together.

The giant Buddha installation became the visual anchor of the event, creating the perfect photo opportunity and bringing the space together with an impactful piece.

This is proof that table centres don’t have to shout to make an impact…

The ceiling had to work just as hard as the floor on this one.

One of the biggest challenges with moving the Awards Gala into a larger hall at the ICC Birmingham was creating atmosphere from every angle.

So instead of designing outwards, we designed inwards using layered lighting, foliage, candlelight and a bespoke ceiling installation created collaboratively with the ICC tech team.

The result?

A little less “conference hall”…

When guest numbers grow two weeks before the event, there's only one thing to do. Make it BIGGER. Make it BETTER.

This year's AICO Community Awards at the ICC went from Hall 4 to Hall 3 and we had two weeks to completely rework a space for 450 guests without losing an ounce of atmosphere.

🪷 Giant Buddha installation
💡 LED tunnel entrance
🕯️ Candlelit styling throughout
🖤 Deep reds, black and gold
🌿 Foliage and trees

With 450 guests, a two week turnaround and a brief that evolved into something far more dramatic than anyone expected... this one had a little bit of magic to it.

And that's exactly how we like it!
