It is with deep regret that I announce that Wedding Belles will be closing at the end of November 2026.
After 19 wonderful years under my ownership, the time has come to say goodbye. This decision has not been made lightly. I had sincerely hoped to reach our 20-year milestone and celebrate 36 years of Wedding Belles serving the Kibworth community before retiring. Unfortunately, due to health concerns, this is no longer possible.
We are all incredibly sad to be closing our doors. Over the years, we have had the privilege of being part of hundreds of brides' special journeys, as well as helping countless mothers of the bride and groom, bridesmaids, and prom girls feel truly special. We have shared so many unforgettable moments, happy tears, and wonderful stories. Looking back, I think I could write a book about everything we have seen, heard, and been fortunate enough to be part of.
I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has made this journey so special. A special mention must go to my best friend, Carole, who started this adventure with me in 2007. Sadly, Carol was only with me for six years before she passed away, and is still very much missed in my life.
Thank you also to my wonderful husband, who has supported me throughout the years, and to all the amazing staff and suppliers I have had the pleasure of working alongside. Your dedication, friendship, and support have meant the world to me.
As we prepare for closure, we will be selling all of our remaining stock. If you are looking for a designer wedding dress, mother-of-the-bride or groom outfit, or wedding accessories at reduced prices, please keep an eye on our updates. From this week onwards, we will no longer be ordering new dresses and will be selling our sample gowns only.
Finally, if there is anyone who feels they would like to continue the Wedding Belles name and legacy, I would be happy to discuss the possibility of selling this successful business to the right person.
Thank you to everyone who has supported Wedding Belles over the years. It has been an honour and a privilege to be part of so many special occasions and cherished memories.
