Needed to do a restoration from beginning to end, as I have been doing half completed jobs.

So this piece was a good place to start!

I was around 14 years of age, and my father arrived home with old Victorian furniture.

He made me sand and restore the furniture. I was completely annoyed by these tasks. Why?

In recent years, I understand now...so I have been interested in restoring old furniture.

I thought if I purchase this simple item, and relearn some techniques and try something new...and a bit of nostalgia.

World Photography Day.
My previous family home!
Where it all began, this front door has not changed for 45 years.

Leaving the house to go to primary and secondary school, returning home from playing with my mates, walking to college, and going to work at 59 Central Road to help out dad in the photography studio and one day, moving home.

There is always a beginning and an end to everything. Stop in that moment and accept the blessings.
