Annual plant sale for Christian Aid

Our plant sale this year will be held on Saturday 17th may.

We always raise a worthwhile sum on money for Christian Aid in our sale of plants, cakes and books. If you are a gardener, please grow a few extra seeds, or take some cuttings and nurture them until may, when you can bring and donate to Christian Aid plant sale. Veg l, perennials, bedding shrubs and house plants are all welcome thank you.

Fair trade stall in church on Sunday 30th March, mothering Sunday

We will have all sorts of fair trade goodies from just fairs trade shop in the city centre, cards, socks, chocolate and more, so please remember to bring your money to church ( we can’t take cards) to treat friends, family or yourself!

The Kumon maths and English Study Programmes offer what traditional tuition gives to your child and more. Kumon goes one step further by helping each child develop self-learning skills, enabling them to tackle challenging work without reliance on a teacher. Our aim is to help any child of any ability to progress and develop a curiosity and love for learning.

Your local Instructor will set work for your child at just the right level, enabling them to build confidence in their abilities and progress their maths and English skills in small, manageable steps through daily study. They will visit their local study centre once a week for sessions with their Instructor. This allows the Instructor to tailor and adapt each child’s study plan to their abilities, through observing their progress and fluency at each level. Our study programmes are individualised to each child to help them establish strong learning foundations and a positive learning experience, to build skills and confidence for their future.

The annual St Andrew's Church, Aylestone St. Andrew's Christmas Craft Fair is on Saturday the 9th of November 2024, from 10am until 4pm. Held at Aylestone St Andrew's Parish Hall. Make sure you bring your Christmas lists with you...we have wonderful local makers for you to shop with. Please save the date and spread the word...we hope you make it 😊
