🦎🐍 MEET THE ANIMALS OF LORDS EXOTICS! 🐢🐸

The animals are the heart of Lords Exotics, and over the next few weeks we’re going to introduce you to every member of our animal family! ❤️

These are the amazing animals you may get to meet, learn about and interact with during one of our reptile encounters.

Say hello to Snow! 👋🦎

🦎 Species: Crested Gecko (Correlophus ciliatus)
🎂 Age: Unknown
♀️ S*x: Female
🏠 With us since: 2025
🌍 Native to: New Caledonia 🇳🇨

Snow is one of our beautiful crested geckos and is a lovely addition to the Lords Exotics family! ❤️ Although we don’t know exactly how old she is, Snow has been with us since 2025 and has quickly become a much-loved member of our animal family. 🥰🦎

🍽️ Favourite food: Bugs 🪲🦗
⭐ Favourite thing: Her coconut hide 🥥🏠
😂 Fun fact: Crested geckos have tiny hairs called setae on their feet, which help them grip onto surfaces and climb across smooth surfaces! 🦎🧗

💚 Did you know?

Crested geckos were once thought to be extinct! They were rediscovered on New Caledonia in 1994, after not being seen for decades. 🌿🦎

Say hello to Fluffy our fearsome Asian Forest Scorpion! 👋🦂❤️

🦂 Species: Asian Forest Scorpion

🏠 With us since: 2026
🌍 Native to: Asia 🌏

Fluffy might have a scary name, but he certainly knows how to put on a show! 😂🦂

We don’t know exactly how old Fluffy is, but he’s already developed quite the personality. His favourite pastime seems to be acting scary whenever he gets the chance! 😈🦂

Don’t let his intimidating appearance fool you though — Fluffy is a fascinating animal and a brilliant opportunity to learn more about scorpions and the important role they play in their ecosystems. ❤️

⭐ Favourite thing: Acting scary! 😈
😂 Fun fact: Asian forest scorpions use their powerful pincers to grab and hold their prey, while their sting can be used for hunting and defence.

🦎🐍 WHAT A DAY AT SEAGRAVE VILLAGE FETE! ❤️

We had every intention of taking loads of photos yesterday…

And then we got so busy we completely forgot! 😂📸

But honestly, we wouldn’t have had it any other way!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came over to see us at Seagrave Village Fete. We had such a lovely day meeting so many of you, answering all your questions and, of course, introducing you to some of our amazing animals. 🐍🦎🐢

We absolutely love seeing all the different reactions — from the ones who are straight in with “CAN I HOLD IT?!” 😂 to those who start off keeping a very safe distance and slowly get a little braver. ❤️

We might not have the photos to show for it this time… but being too busy meeting you all is a pretty good reason! 🥰

🦎 Species: Gargoyle Gecko (Rhacodactylus auriculatus)
🎂 Age: 1 year old
♂️ S*x: Male
🏠 With us since: 2025
🌍 Native to: New Caledonia 🇳🇨

Gale is our gorgeous young gargoyle gecko and is already full of personality! ❤️ He’s a fantastic little member of the Lords Exotics family and loves getting involved, especially when he knows the spray bottle is coming! 😂🦎

⭐ Favourite thing: The spray bottle 💦😂
😂 Fun fact: Gargoyle geckos have amazing climbing abilities thanks to the tiny structures on their feet that help them grip onto surfaces! 🦎🧗

Gargoyle geckos are named after the gargoyle-like bumps and horns around their heads, which give them their unique appearance! 🦎👀

🦎🐍 WE’RE AT SEAGRAVE VILLAGE FETE TODAY! 🐢❤️

Come along and see us at Seagrave Village Hall from 12pm–4pm for a brilliant family afternoon!

We’ll be there with some of our amazing animals, ready for you to get up close, meet them and enjoy a proper Lord’s Exotics Encounter! 🐍🦎

There’s loads going on throughout the day too, including bouncy castles, an ice cream van 🍦, craft stalls, plenty of other stalls and much more!

Say hello to Chilly our charming Chilean rose tarantula! 👋🕷️❤️

🕷️ Species: Chilean Rose Tarantula (Grammostola rosea)
🎂 Age: Born in 2025
♀️ S*x: Female — hopefully! 🤞🕷️
🏠 With us since: 2025
🌍 Native to: Chile 🇨🇱

Chilly is one of the smallest members of the Lords Exotics family, and she’s still got plenty of growing to do! 🥰🕷️

At the moment, Chilly isn’t quite ready to come out and meet everyone as she’s still very small. We’re going to let her grow, settle in and take things at her own pace. ❤️

But hopefully, as she gets bigger, she’ll eventually be ready to make her debut at our Lords Exotics Encounters! 🕷️🥰

😂 Fun fact: Chilean rose tarantulas have tiny hairs covering their bodies that help them sense vibrations and movement around them!

💚 Did you know?

Tarantulas have eight legs, but they also have two pedipalps at the front of their bodies which they use for sensing and handling food. 🕷️
