All of the Sweetpea family are so saddened to have woken up to the news that St Andrew's, Jarrom Street has suffered a fire. I work with the St Andrew’s congregation many times a year, and in fact we were there on Monday preparing for the funeral that was due to take place today.
This congregation is so full of life and energy, multicultural and the congregation numbers on a Sunday just keep growing and growing. Whenever I’m there be it for a more somber occasion or a joyful one, this place is always “buzzing” with activity. I have no doubts that with Johannes at the helm the congregation will all pull together.
My heart feels heavy today because of this. St Andrew’s played a big part of my decision making to go on my own again and to pursue the teaching side of floristry more.
