If you’re in York, the Grand Hotel just started serving a Sunday Lunch menu on the first Sunday of the month
It was great to be invited today, Easter Sunday, to try their first ever new menu and it did not disappoint
Great atmosphere and surrounding lounges
Classic takes on Sunday roasts, served from the open pass
I highly recommend this for a one off destination or coincide with a visit to this historical city

A great welcome from the team at The General Tarleton, Ferrensby, Knaresborough,
Tommy Banks has created a great dining experience here.
Along with my daughter(), and a small group of influencers we tasted some of the new menu items
The Pie was sublime and the sourdough treacle tart was the best I ever had
Words can’t explain the food, you have to try it
The sharing pies are advanced order only but you won’t be disappointed
