From Jive Lindy North / Jive Lindy Preston / Lindy Leeds — Quick update 💃✨
Our Preston nights are thriving, with 50+ dancers 🎉 and two venues already up and running — it’s been a fantastic start and we’re really excited about where it’s going 🚀 Tea dances ☕🕺 and big ballroom energy already! ✨
Over in Leeds, we want to say a huge thank you to all our supporters and sponsors 🙏, and to First 10 Pages for access to their Insight Team, and everyone who’s helped with our research so far — we really appreciate it 💛
We absolutely love The Fenton ❤️ — it’s a beautiful space in the perfect location 📍 — but at £60–£80 per night it’s not quite sustainable yet (we’re confident it will be soon 💪✨)
So we’re on the lookout for a new Leeds venue 👀 Ideally:
– Central location 📍
– Warm, characterful space (not a fluorescent-lit hall) ✨
– Low-cost or ideally free 💷 (we’re happy to pay something reasonable)
The atmosphere we’re building is open, kind, friendly, and welcoming 🤗 — and that part is really working 🌟 We’re attracting exactly the open-minded people we hoped for 🌈
Marketing is working 📣 — we just need the right space to grow even bigger 🌱💃 If you know of anywhere, or have any connections, we’d love to hear from you 📩 or share this around 🔁
