It has been a little quiet on our socials lately, but only because you've all been keeping us incredibly busy, and we have done huge corporate set ups, a training day, and tried to plan ahead for the next couple of weeks too!

A little reminder that whilst we are great at accommodating last minute requests, the next couple of weeks are looking super busy, so if you know you need balloons, please try to plan ahead.

Today's setup is the perfect example of why we do what we do
At 11am, a mum contacted us after being let down by her original supplier. Her son's party started at 1.30pm.

With a lot of teamwork, we pulled together a completely personalised superhero display, including custom vinyl and cut outs, in just a couple of hours.
Was it what she originally ordered? No.

Did Freddie get an amazing birthday setup and a party that wasn't ruined? Absolutely. 💥🦸‍♂️

And that's exactly why we always try our best to help where we can.

Last night's evening setup was all worth it knowing Ella would wake up to this waiting for her this morning! 🥹✨

All hand made little Jellycat inspired details, to the bows, cherries, cupcakes and personalised touches, this display is packed with all the things we love most about creating birthday magic. 💕

Creating moments like these is exactly why we do what we do. Seeing a child's face when they walk into a room transformed just for them never gets old. ✨

I NEVER do evening set ups, but today was different. What a treat getting to see these beauties in your customers barn as your leaving!

I mean the balloons are AMAZING! But I did sit mesmerised, staring at these for a little while.

✨ How To Create The Perfect Backdrop For Your Photos ✨

We don't just create the balloons... we help you get the best photos too! 📸

When we set up your display, we'll always advise if it's not positioned in the best place for photos. There's nothing worse than investing in beautiful decor and then ending up with dark, cluttered or unflattering pictures.

Here are our top tips for getting those Instagram worthy shots:

☀️ Avoid having natural light behind the display If the window is behind your backdrop, your camera will struggle to expose correctly, leaving your balloons and guests looking dark and shadowed.

📍 Choose a clear, uncluttered space Radiators, bins, coats, toys, extension leads and random household items can quickly distract from your display.

📸 Leave room to step back Make sure there is enough space in front of the setup for group photos. Nobody wants to be squashed into a corner trying to fit everyone in!

💡 Turn on additional lighting Especially during autumn and winter events. Lamps and venue lighting can make a huge difference to your photos.

🎈 Consider the background around the display Neutral walls and clean spaces allow your decor to be the star of the show.

👗 Think about where guests will stand We always try to position displays so people naturally stand in the perfect spot for photos.

🧹 Have a quick tidy before guests arrive A 2 minute tidy up can make all the difference between a good photo and a great one.

📱 Use portrait mode where possible, most modern phones have amazing portrait settings that help blur the background and make the display pop.

The display below is a perfect example of allowing plenty of space around the setup so the backdrop remains the main focus of every photograph. 🤍

People often see the balloons, the backdrops, the finished set ups and the pretty photos, but what they don't always see is the team behind it all.

As a group of four women, we're not without our own personal challenges, busy schedules, family commitments and the ups and downs that life throws at us. But together, we're pretty indestructible.

We're the kind of team where, if one of us is struggling, the others step in and pick things up.

The kind of team that has each other's backs, no matter what.

As a business owner, I couldn't be prouder to provide opportunities that allow women to work around their lives whilst earning an income to support themselves and their families. But even more than that, I'm proud of the friendships we've built along the way.

We support each other through the lowest lows and celebrate every success together.

Sense of Occasion wouldn't be what it is today without every single member of the team. That also includes our younger team members who jump in to help on our busiest days. Whilst the work may be sporadic, I'm incredibly proud to give them opportunities, experience and a starting point.
