From the outside, it probably looks like I’ve got it all figured out… but being inside your own business feels very different 🤍

I still compare myself to others.
I still wish I was better at my job.
I still get nervous about working on big jobs and at amazing venues✨

I have days where I feel like I’m not doing enough, days where I can’t be bothered to do anything, and days where I work every minute of the day and still feel like my to-do list is a mile long 🫠

There’s also that added pressure of knowing that if I don’t do it myself, no one else will.

Maybe one day I’ll scale and trust someone to help me. Maybe I’ll stay exactly as I am, enjoying the amount of work I take on and maybe even remembering to switch off every now and then! 😂

Who knows? 🤷🏼‍♀️

You can just have… a PINK wedding. 🩷

Just like Chloe & Stu a couple of weeks ago at Oaklands at The Grand Lodge.

We used real touch luxury faux flowers throughout their wedding styling, soft pink fabrics, and the most gorgeous mix of bright pink and red florals.

Whilst this isn’t my usual calm, neutral brief… I was OBSESSED with how it turned out.

It looked amazing, we had so many guests complimenting it on the day, and I actually love when my couples use colour within their styling.

Because I’m such a beige girl. 😂
My house is beige. My wardrobe is beige. Basically everything about me is beige… (except my personality, obviously 🤪)

So I actually LOVE seeing couples do something completely different and embrace colour.

And speaking of colour… I’m going to be sharing another post this week all about how to choose your wedding colour combination, so keep your eyes peeled. 👀

Modern wedding design is all about the details and I am HERE for it✨

Unique table designs, simple florals with fresh fruit, hanging lampshades, beautiful fabrics and a finished place setting are all things I’m loving at the moment.

And don’t even get me started on those little personal details… they make SUCH a difference 🫶

Basically, it’s all about creating a space that feels considered, layered and completely you without going overboard.

Obsessed with all of these details! 🤍

People are always shocked when I say it's just me working for my business.

I'm always flattered when I hear a 'omg you do all of this on your own' because yes, yes I do! 😉

The styling, the moodboards, the client calls, proposals, marketing, emailing, content, packing the van, cleaning, buying stock... all me.

I have some help from my family and friends when I need it, my Mum is always tasked with taking the washing to the laundrette and cleaning charger plates 😆

But I genuinely love that I can manage it myself without getting stressed.

You might see other businesses with big teams behind them, but that doesn't necessarily mean they are any better at the job.

I deliberately take on a limited number of weddings each year so that you get my full attention. I don't want you to have to wait weeks to hear back from me because I'm inundated with other weddings. I want your service to feel personal and easy from the get go. 💞
