If you're wondering why your hubby doesn't understand the vision for your wedding, you're not alone honey.

These are actual things I've heard during consultation calls and they have given me a giggle to be honest. I get it, when you've never planned a wedding before, or have no interest in the design elements of it, some of the details probably do sound a bit random 😆

It's how it's said that makes me laugh the most, with very little enthusiasm 'why would we pay for a plate that we can't eat from' 😂

But this is why I love having the grooms on the consultation calls, it means I can explain all of the details, you can decide together whether you want to hire certain items or not and then we're all on the same page for when I create your proposals 🥰

P.S. The best part is watching the 'why do we need that' turn into wow you did such a great job!

3 things that still make me nervous, no matter how many weddings I style…

1. Sending your proposal 🤍
Every time I send your proposal, I still do a little squeal before pressing send. 😂 It’s definitely a nervous thing.

Did I get it right? Will they love it? Will they think we’re the perfect match?!

I always hope I’ve captured everything we’ve chatted about and everything you’ve imagined. Then I sit there feeling excited/nervous waiting for your reply.

2. Working alongside suppliers whose work I admire ✨
I absolutely love collaborating with talented people, but I still get that little flutter of excitement when I’m working with suppliers whose work I genuinely love.

Like… what?! Me?! I’m booked on the same wedding as you?! Woohoo! 🥹

3. The day before your wedding 🚚
Your wedding is packed weeks in advance… but the day before, I’m 100% checking the van over and over again.

Checklist in hand, opening boxes, counting candles, convincing myself I’ve forgotten something… even though I’ve already checked it about 10 times. 😂
