2 weeks today, we make our last venture into Wire's basement for ONE LAST DANCE. Honoured to be part of the closing parties, so I've put together one of our best lineups to date to pay homage to the legacy of the club. Full of our nearest and dearest. ❤️

We apologise for the silence but if you haven’t guessed LWR is on hiatus. after a killer string of parties we all went our separate ways of life.

We’re all brothers bound by the parties, & .rowland are continuing on with LIMIT] and still keeping the rest of the crew involved, .hq are still doing bits and have plans for Manchester, but is out of action!

this is not a farewell, there may likely be some LWR events on the cards in the future!

Excited to be back in the booth for the first time in months tonight, with the full team! Kicking off from 6pm to close, we’ll be taking you on a sonic journey with all our residents spinning b2b across the whole 8 hours, jumping in and out playing whatever we’re feeling, from downtempo, slow jams, to acid house and breakbeat, to more obscure leftfield gems and IDM. Sit down raving at its finest.

We are half way through the bank holiday weekend with still so much still to come! LWR crew will be soundtracking your evening from 6pm tonight.

We are currently full tonight with bookings, but we have space for walk ins all day. If you didn’t manage to book pop down to the bar and check what is available with the door staff, if there’s space we will get you in

We're excited to be back at Distrikt Bar Leeds in their new and improved BOOTH with the full team for the first time since last November for our last LWR party with Leon Vynehall at Wire.

This is a strictly sit down, hands up affair but be assured our residents will be pulling out all the regular good vibes and belters we've been gathering over lockdown. Tables are fully booked for the evening so it's looking to be a belter of a night.

⁣We are currently fully booked for Sat & Sunday night with only possible space early afternoon for bookings and then possible walk ins through the day and night.

We have plenty of space Monday & Thursday for bookings and walk ins, with some space on Friday too.

We need your support today!

The UK Night-Time Economy & Events Sector are launching the campaign, issuing an urgent plea for support from the UK Government that the dance music events sector must be protected and recognised as an important part of the nation’s art and culture in parity with the wider Live Music sector, to ensure equal access to support for all our venues, staff and more.
The government narrative allocation of this support has not included nightclubs, events, and festivals to receive funding from this package for the arts.

Nightclubs and festival culture are a vital part of our British heritage as well as generating millions of pounds in revenue for the economy, it adds to the ever-growing nightlife tourism figures boasting 300 million visits a year across the UK and Billions of pounds.

If you have ever been to, play at or involved in a rave, nightclub, disco, dance event, electronic festival, after-party in the UK then I hope this something that resonates with you. Please support the campaign to keep us dancing together.

Tomorrow the music industry stands together to take atleast a small a step of action to pause, reconnect with our community and disconnect from the digital world.

Everything that is going on in the world right now shouldn’t be happening in 2020, white privilege is real and it shouldn’t be. If you listen to music, or dj, or throw parties, pretty much all the music we play and listen to is rooted in black culture founded by black artists.

We must not stay silent.

Let us stand together during this time and fight for what is right.
